Not one in particular, but occasionally I come across one that annoys the hell out of me and it keeps distracting me with its animation.

yeah, i block about half of the animated avatars here.

Big fan of the cat and Heaters. I have no idea whats going on in Heaters, but it's just HOF. I also like LOLDONKBETS love my fishy one.

If you're on Firefox you can press escape to stop the avatars animating which can be useful if reading a thread where some damn fool dreadful avatar owner has posted a lot.

Bumping old threa instead of making a new one, since this one has good info for Firefox users (which I am at home) and I hate to make redundant threads.

Any way to turn avatars off selectively in Internet Explorer? I'm all for most avatars, but some are really tilting and/or seizure inducing, and I'm stuck with IE at work.
