Poster should be banned because:

[X] He's a self admitted pain the ass.

[X] He's a Red Sox fan, and should therefor be banned on principle.

[X] Capitalizing "River", not capitalizing "cry me a", and for adding "freaking" to the name.

[X] Insulting Doc.

[X] All of the above - why discriminate?

The system capitalized River because it knows the power I have around here.

The signature adds nothing of value, you know it annoys people, and yet you continue to include it. At this point, then, you're purposefully trying to rile people up, thereby becoming the very definition of a troll.

Here' a weird thought: Maybe an update on the 2+2 app could be made? Including getting rid of the sign thing altogether?

That is too easy and where would the fun be in that.

Not really that easy. The company that produced the customized app no longer provides that service. For the time being, it is what it is.

On an unrelated note, I sent my first series of texts yesterday to my sister. I'm dragging (slouching?) my way into the modern age and my head is awash in the implications.

You never have to speak to her again.

I went in to the Verizon store because they said that I went over my 450 minute limit. (That would have been the first time that I have ever talked on the phone that much in more than sixty years.) While I was ranting about the mistake, this young guy grabs me and said that he would fix everything.

He said he would put me on an unlimited talking plan, that also had texting and unlimited data for fifty percent less than I was currently paying. Of course, I asked why I wasn't on that plan already and he said it was because I hadn't asked, lol.

When I got home, my phone told me that I really wanted to text my sister (and I didn't even know it!), so the rest is history.

(Plus, he signed me up for free classes on how to use the phone, I'm going to be as smart as my phone any day now!)

Pay careful attention in class - there will be a test.

I love the esurance commercial where you talk about the number of buttons on a phone.

You mean that over sixty years ago you talked on the phone more than that?

I probably did. They say I would get on the phone and talk to the neighbors on our party line and refuse to hang up.

I remember our family having a party line! That was a long, long, time ago. Probably most youngsters don't even know what one was.

Drop the phone, and have to apologize to the operator.....

Of course, it's not like I would ever listen in on the neighbors.......

And it seems just like yesterday... (When my seven year old granddaughter heard when her brother was born, she exclaimed, "You were born in the nineteen hundreds!" We all look old to somebody, lol.)

Sort of like this one. The first time that I saw a colored phone, I felt like we were really in the modern age.

My first serious girlfriend lived in the country and had a party line. Any neighbors of hers probably found our conversations highly stimulating. I know I did.

It was exciting to get our first push-button phone, until I got home from school and saw it...
