We have the most satisfying feeling in poker thread, I'll start with the worst feeling in poker thread.

- Getting no action PF with AA on a table that pushed you around, floated you, bluffed you, sucked out on you and hero called you for 4 hours.

- Being on a trip and having gone busto.

- Being down multiple buy ins and winning a pot worth 10-15BB with the near-nuts.

- Flopping a set and seeing that 3rd of a suit hit the turn in a multiway pot.

More to add later.

Firing a third barrel/pure bluffing on the river and seeing the villain reach for their chips...Alternatively hearing them say "call" within 1 second...

You just wasted hours of your life grinding poker then next day go to get our rakeback, check on your poker balance and you just broke even after rakeback.

Losing 16 HUSNGs in a row (most of which you're underolled for) and physically feeling sick, laying in bed at 4am after busting it all.. when if you'd gone to sleep at a reasonable time, none of this would have happened.

It's the self hatred more than the money lost for me. Knowing you can beat the stake you're at but you let variance take control and subsequently *** you.

This hurt to witness. I was railing someone I frequently played with on stars when I first started playing in '08. He made an ft this week and played great.

But this other dude, jesus. 6 left, 13mil chips with the chip lead (2nd had 8) and for whatever reason this guy decided to punt off in back to back hands playing 78 off in both.

Short stack virtual push, wacko reraises to 2 mil, shove to 8mil from behind and he calls vs 10s and Ks lol Then he min opens, gets raised with a shove behind and is up against AQs and Ks. 8 ****ing hours and his brain decides, nah, I don't wanna ship this thing.

It was a great kinda pain though since I lmaoed.

Friend (familiar face would be more fitting) finished 3rd. GG

As illogical as it may sound, playing with your last $1.50 on stars (usual stakes $50+ tourneys) at a hyper HUSNG. No more of those. It's like facing a min raise every ****ing hand and the AIPF that loses is brutal.. Whether it's a 3 outter on the river or you're behind preflop AND your opponent catches on flop making your drawing dead. But turn will be the gin draw before the board pairs.

Eg: KQss vs A7. Flop A34s, turn Js.. You get the idea.,

This is what I'm talking about.

Running into a brick wall right next to you who wakes up with it. Drawing absolutely dead. And then the turn brings in THE GIN card that could've possibly come off. Almost feels like a resuckout on the river.

    One too many mornings..

Edit: I don't play many tournaments, and made my first final table in a $22 tournament. I was 3rd in chips, 8 left. The Russian on my right was by far the runaway chip leader, it was a pretty weird dynamic. He seriously had like 7x the chips of second place, it was absurd. He was raising like hell, and picking up endless pots uncontested.

I wake up with AA in the bb. Folds around to the Russian, who raises 4x when I have less than 20 bb's. Jackpot! Insta shove. The Russian tanks, tanks, tanks.. Types in the chuckling smiley and calls. He has 10-5 of clubs. The flop was 10-x-x two clubs. My heart sank, of ****ing course. Don't do it to me, that's so ugly! Turn is a club. What a ****ing joke. Dead on the turn.

I sat there dumbfounded and the **** typed in the chuckling smiley again.

Yeah, that was a smashed mouse.

When you're deep in a tourney and you get this hand that immediately starts the dialogue in your head:

    I could shove here
    it's kinda close
    guess i'm folding?
nah should be fine, rip it in!

When you've been bluffing rivers all night and getting called, then you decide to give up for once and check your busted draw, only to lose to a slightly higher busted draw.

Fkn unbelievable when one comes across a player like the Russian you mention,in fact i often re look at some of those type suck-outs also on HEM just to see if i could have done something different in the hand, but invariably it is a NO from my end and more getting shafted. I been thinking a lot lately about how one must be a secret masochist to keep playing such are the ways of losing when getting it in good.
When you hear of guys depositing say$40 and never having to deposit again, and become big winners,im bugd if i can really believe it,it may be true but for the life of me i can't see that being true, especially having played some myself and experiencing just how many ways you can be raped online.
Makes you wonder how the hell guys like Moorman etc are such concistant winners,i guess volume is the key to that so as one dont really see the suckouts etc.

Not at all. I almost never play higher or lower than my regular stakes. Live 2/5 and sometimes 1/2 and rarely 5/10. Tourneys $60 - $200 buy-in. Lower end when running bad. 90% of my tourneys are in the $100-150 by in range.
