Switching from tourney to cash. Played 10k hands at .01/.02 and I have a steady super slow climb. Losing a lot of hands to many many odd losses. Lost one earlier with AK vs QQ where the Villain didnt believe that somone might actually have an A or K to beat his hand on the flop. Runner Runner straight for the Villain. I am looking over my hands, learning about my mistakes, but losing cash to people calling like ti is FREE POKER, and I know it practically is.

I want to move up a level. Not gaining much in profit, but not losing either.

I hear you. As mentioned I am trying to teach myself cash, but I am torn between the balance of learning, and losing to crap like this at these stakes. No one (or a hell of a lot less ) would jam 125bb at a live $ 2/5. So what the hell, move up? I dont want to kid myself as I said I would give it 20k hands to see how I am doing. Again, profiting at these stakes, but it is slow. Lost some when I first started cash, so in reality I have a bit of a climb. problem is I lost a ton of cash playing 5NL and 10NL, dropped to 2NL and trying to get back up. Its a bitch, and may be impossible(ly long).

I did a post with my stats a few days ago. I had some serious losses for the first 3k hands at 5nl, 10nl, because I had no clue about a basic concept with jamming over pairs and not recognizing threats such as larger pairs, sets. Once I dropped to .01/.02, I stabilized, stopped losing money, and this begins the steady climb back to my dignity for the past 7k hands.

Frustrating as hell. My angry bird avatar represents my mood right now.
