SNG-DU, top 5 get paid, 6 players are left. I am the big chip leader with 6000 in the big blind, one guy left the table and is "sitting out" with only 500 chips left and will be blinded out in 3 more hands. He has been gone for 15 minutes and we all know he is not coming back, he left with 2500 chips and is down to 500. Everyone folds to the small blind, he has about 1200 in chips and is in line to get paid as soon as the "sitting out" guy is done. For some reason he decides to go all in. I have KJ suited so I say to myself, I am calling this guy, I don't care what he has since I can easily afford it and am in no danger at all. Of course he turns over aces, and flop is 4-A-Q rainbow.

needless to say, I catch my 10 on the river to fill out my straight and set of Aces dude is done

Your call is perplexing. He had Aces. Why would you call? Even though you sucked out, you are almost always behind when someone has 2 Aces (AA - suit not important at all, except I find 4 to the flush comes more often in black suits than in red).

I called his all in before I saw the flop, I probably would not have called post flop on a gut shot, even with a big stack. my point is he never should have pushed in this scenario in a SNG-DU

he could easily have limped with his aces to see a flop, he needed to protect his stack

Also you seem to not know that most people on this forum like to rag on people in this section (BBV). Everyone knows what a DU SnG is and that you don't play them to get first place (since there isn't one).

I figured out about half way through that I was getting trolled. and you can tell by my low post count that I have not been here long and should have assumed the worst
