Sit n go advice - multi table vs single (collusion issues?) Sit n go advice - multi table vs single (collusion issues?)

Hey all,

I began grinding single-table sit n go's earlier this year, worked my way up and ended up hitting a size-able downswing. (I know my sample size is pitiful)

Between 20-30 buy ins. I know...fairly standard though I thought it was odd to nosedive as quickly as it did (no, I didn't spew or *ever* play tilted)

This happened in June, and, between the downswing, getting a summer job, and playing more live poker, I decided to withdraw my account.

Not long after, I received the standard "you've been victimized by cheaters, though, we cannot disclose how" email from Full tilt and was compensated 20 bucks. It's been sitting there till now.

Long story short, I've decided to start grinding again and had a friend transfer some money to me so I have a decent shot. I have no idea just how much the "cheaters" cost me, but since I played 6-max turbo sit n go's almost exclusively, I can only assume they were using collusion.

I'd rather not risk that happening again, so, to all of you grinders, what is your advice? Am I being paranoid? Its annoying not knowing how much of my downswing came from unfair play.

I would prefer single table sng's, but multi table sng's would obviously make collusion much more difficult.

In a nutshell:

Does the risk of collusion warrant defensive measures? Or did I just get unlucky? (Also what are everyone's thoughts on multi-table sng grinding?)

Thanks!

-Dan
