Research assistant.

Internet poker is more enjoyable and easier.

Tons of people do more than 60k/month while holding down jobs or school with a curriculum much more difficult than OP.

I'm somewhat insulted that he thinks its prop-bettable. Whats the next prop bet gonna be? To successfully make yourself breakfast in the morning? Actually I can see the prop bets merit. Huge loser, wants to make good. Can he turn his **** around or is he destined to be a huge loser forever. Might be entertaining.

Yeah, playing HU is a lot easier and less stressful than manually masturbating primates or anything you would have done as an undergrad research assistant. Right.

HU is a lot of fun. If you hate poker and the thought of playing 3 hours a day seems daunting you should quit.

very glad that your butt hurt self came out of lurking just for my thread.

fwiw, sir, it would be an accomplishment for me to make my own breakfast, seeing as I eat out 2 meals a day 7 days a week and dont eat 3 meals a day

This bet is stupid. Easy angleshooting.

HE WILL PAY PEOPLE TO DO HIS HOMEWORK.

How are we gonna know he isnt doing this?

16 units hours gives lots of free time

Anyways im guessing his bankroll is like 20k, which isn't much. And he is trying to double it through this bet.

Taking a 4:1 bet against him is horrible.

Like his idea of this bet, but prob wont go through.

For these prop bets you have to set up something remotely difficult that requires some effort/skill/luck above and beyond what the normal person could achieve. To win this bet OP just has to go from extreme incompetence to mild competence.

if i had free money to bet, i would bet against you 100%. there's no possible way you are going to get a 4.0 with a full course load taking average to difficult courses.

edit: you are taking 4 courses? isn't 5 courses a full course load?

lol..

Yeah I think there is just too much possible angle shooting and with a lack of policing this, you wont get much action

full course load here is 4 classes. but im taking 2 labs and a recitation as well.

Turkish, like i said before, I wouldnt trust god to do my homework well enough. Besides that, if I dont do the homework, it means I have to study a lot more. Besides THAT, a lot of the actual homework is reading, and unfortunately, I cant have people take my tests for me, unless I never show up to class otherwise, and then I wont be able to get an A anyway due to missed quizzes/attendance/etc. So please, go **** yourself.

FYI, no, my bankroll is not 20k.

I'm fairly confident this bet goes through.

Like I said, I will go to decent lengths to do whatever I can to prove I am not angling this in any way.

To whomever asked, yes, a full transcript can be sent to a judge at both the beginning and the end of this bet.

Not going to class in a college course is a good start, I've lowered my gpa a whole point on that factor alone.

Anyone who says this bet would be a breeze is crazy, I would certainly take action on it if I had the BR but I would also like to be in gimme's shoes becuase I know how much of a good motivational tool this could be and how it could really help overall life ev so to speak. But when it comes down to it getting a 4.0gpa in any college is brutally hard, especially with the track record for skipping class and failing out he's had. Anyone who thinks the 5-1 line is bad needs to stfu and not take the bet, there are plenty out there that understand how hard this will be and would take action assuming everything posted is true and accurate (which I believe it is).

I thought you were busto and flipped for the rest of your bankroll.

I don't know who will take action against at those odds AND has the money to do it, considering most people who have made a lot of $$ are intelligent people who probably do decently well at above average schools anyway.

And LOL at people saying have people do your hwk; don't your schools grade almost completely on exams, with a small portion of your grade dedicated to homework just so you don't skip it?

Regardless, this would be fun to watch.

gimmetheloot i like this prop bet alot. People are motivated by different things and if money is what motivates you i wish you best of luck. If i had the bankroll i would be all over this. Logging 60k hands a month and moving from a 2.0 gpa to a 4.0 gpa will not be easy by any means.

Ok...don't want to brag or anything but this is my courseload this QUARTER.

17 hours

Organic Chemistry II - A+
Organic Chemistry II Lab - A
Physics II - A-
Physics II Lab - CREDIT
Biology III (REMEMBER QUARTERS) - A+
Biology Lab III - A
Research Assistant - CREDIT
TAKE MANEY - 2k-3k HANDS/DAY (Equates to 2-4 hours a day)

Some classes we get CR/NCR (CREDIT/NOCREDIT). I will obviously post a picture of my transcript as soon as grades get in...assuming I don't screw up any finals coming this next week. But these are my grades going into the final. I am not some poker god or anything, I am still playing .5/1 6max because I do devote a lot of time to school on weekends (premed ftw ya?). I see your bet as being pretty doable if you are smart. But seeing as how it is difficult to judge intelligence vs laziness on a transcript I can't see anyone giving 5:1 odds on this. 2.5:1 seems reasonable if you can prove you are slightly ******ed.

colts, i feel that those same intelligent people would realize that just because they arent lazy ****s doesnt mean that im not. Like i said, this is like prop betting on raymer running a marathon, with no training.

Solsek, if u think im too stupid to get A's due to the transcript, easy bet for you right? If you think ive been the laziest bastard possible for the last 2.5 years, again, easy bet for you, right?

Colts, im 'busto'. I have cash in hand from live play and I have a bunch of money in limbo online.

OPs schedule would look something like this: 830 AM wake up go to class. Hit class for 9AM - 12. Hit up lunch then be home at 1. 1-2:30 hit up some poker. 2:30 - 6 study. 6-9 chill out and do whatever. 9-10:30 hit up poker. 10:30 - 12:30 chill out some more then sleep.

With that schedule he could take the weekends off and get straight As and hit his hand requirement. This isn't a soul crushing schedule. This isn't pokerpoopeys 24 tabling fullring 12 hours a day 70 days in a row.

This schedule is just a schedule almost 99% of people on earth hold.

I would like to change both of these things, if not permanently, for at least one semester, and want your help. I currently have a 2.007 GPA, and in every semester I have been in school besides one, have either dropped or failed a class, often doing one of each in a term, this one failing one and dropping 2 more.

As a poker player, I have played >30000 hands in a month once in the last 4 months, which was to barely hit 40k for a prop bet, in which I played 16k hands in the last 2 days of the month. I also just lost a 50k hands prop bet last month for 5k.

My goals:
60k hands a month and a 4.0 GPA for the semester. The semester starts on January 5th and lasts until April 14th.

School:

I will be taking 4 classes. They will be:

1) Math - Calculus for business, which I have failed not one, not two, but three (3) times already.
2) Bio 1 - I dropped this class this term 1/4th of the way through.
2a) there is a lab for this class
3) Chem 2 - Actually passing Chem 1 right now, amazing.
2b) there is a lab for this class and may be a recitation as well.
4) Jewish Religion and Cultures - I am about to fail this class this term.

This is 16 credit hours for each class, plus two for each lab and one for the recitation.

Here is my transcript, and if this bet goes off, I will send the uncropped version to a mod or otherwise well respected 2p2er both at the beginning of the bet and at the end so that they can verify that it is mine.

http://img111.imageshack.us/img111/3...croppedkz2.jpg

Poker:
I will play 60k hands of HU per month at 1-2NL or higher.

I will post screenshots of my play in this or w/e official thread at the end of each month. I will not use a webcam every time I play over the course of the next 4 months.

Betting:
I would like to bet a minimum of 10k on this, and a max of 20k.
I want 5-1 odds.
Minimum bet is $1000.
Due to the length of this bet, I will not require those who bet >5k to escrow so long as your name is as good as gold. However, if you choose not to escrow, I will require your aim/phone/email address.
Anybody that bets less than 5k will have to escrow.
I will escrow my side with any mod/person of the peoples choosing.

I will go to decent lengths to get this bet off the ground.

Note - this is essentially a life changing prop bet, something like greg raymer deciding to run a marathon.
I didn't know it was possible to get such a low GPA. I put in approx 30k hands per month while at an Ivy League, and well, lets just say I did significantly better. At the average university all you have to do is try and you can pull-off a GPA in the range of a 3.0. I sure hope you're paying your own way, because your parents have to reconsider funding this if you aren't. Talk about a true life beat: being a complete moron.
