harrington and that old fool are ******ed.... They probably played a total of 300-600k hands in their lifetime and yet the young guns who played well over 500k hasn't played LONG ENOUGH or ENOUGH hands to know what variance is?

a couple of things about variance. In Harringtons new book there is an interview with a real old school poker player. and hes talking about the young guns, and hes saying its not possible to even judge them yet because we have not seen them deal with an extended run of bad cards.

everyone has periods where they can not hit a draw, can not win a coinflip, and yes periods where you continually lose with the best of it. that is variance. most players seriously underestimate how long the good and bad periods will last. over time skill will out, but its over a much longer time than most realize.

check out the FT academy bankroll challenge by Chris Ferguson. in the FT academy.
he states in there he ran $2 from a freeroll to 28k. BUT THEN, he hit a run of bad cards and ended up going back below 10k. Here is one of the smartest guys around, caclulating Pi to 13 digits in his head, a wsop winner, and yet, even he is not immune to this kind of variance. its all variance bro. chris is not talking about days, weeks or a month either, check out the video. that is why you have to be rolled for the game for the long term. sounds like you need a break, there is nothing wrongn with that

you might also pick a game, like stud , something different, to grind at low stakes for a while to open your perspetive on the game and keep your mind fresh,

you are not alone, ive seen thousands of this suks i quit posts, thousands, prolly even made a few myself. thats poker.

You just didn't adjust to game. Of course poker is in progress over a course of 6 years. Adjust or stop whining.

Need a graph, OP.

Sorry about the bad beats, but if you're really that stuck your game probably is not very good and you may want to take a break from playing to improve your game.

Serious answer is that the game has evolved and you haven't kept up. Get a coach, man.

Had you been paying attention to the hand instead of whining about bad beats on a message board, you would've picked up on the fact that villian had flopped a set. Dumbass.
