Wow OP, if you suck this bad at live poker, I'd like to see some graphs from online.

hey guys. thank you very much for all of your constructive and encouraging feedback regarding this hand, which, incidentally, did totally happen. I have been improving my play as of late and now I am raising pre-flop with my premium pocket pairs. In addition, I have learned how to make the tough laydown when I know I'm beat. Just because I am getting pot odds does not mean that I have to call.

I would like to take this time to formally apologize to those who may have caused physical and/or emotional injury to either themselves or those around them as a direct result of reading this thread. Still, I have to say that I truly did enjoy reading all of the your responses and your good wishes. Thank you very much.

I don't know what's wrong with you people but this is the funniest thread I've read all morning. 5 stars imo.

More hand histories with strat from the OP please.

I had like 70 to start the hand and since I am a pussy and play with scared money, I just limped in with my pair of jacks. The flop came and one guy bet 20 and I just called and another guy pushed and the original guy called and one other guy called and since there was like 250 on the pot at this point and I was getting 5-1, I called. At showdown, this hyper aggressive 80 year old with 600 infront of him says," I got ****" and shows a pair of 8s. Another guy mucks and the other guy shows a pair of 9s and I take it down with my jacks.

I had my wallet out ready to put down another hundred. I am the ****in' man.

I remember this thread. This thread sucked the first time around too. The above post pretty much says it all. Fun fact: that image is over 8 years old! So you see, nothing new in here. Shame on OP for bumping to bring attention to himself
