before we go crazy judging her and making fun of her, lets look at her results, combined shes got over 30%roi over 1200 games, there are few people with the same avg stake who can compare with those results
1200 games is nothing.
These are the best results at this levels I have ever seen.
Really f the haters.
because the players that are better move up?

Also p5s sucks because they do not flame people enough. Her post was total flame material, but I guess the guys just want to suck up to her because she may have a pussy?
The P5 mods delete anything even vaguely "negative," let alone outright insults. Only thing that came close was this exchange:

Quote:
jhub3000: "You guys seriously need to get a clue. Her ROI is not sustainable in the long run. She has only played 394 1 table SNGs. That's nothing. Wait until she has a meaningful sample. Second off, ROI is way overrated. Hourly rate 4 life. I would much rather have a 15% 15 tableing than a 38% ROI 2 tableing. I don't know how many tables she plays, but if I recall it's not very many. Seriously, wake up and stop praising her like she's a SNG God. She probably isn't even in the top 100 of SNG players. I'm sure she's nice and I'm sorry that this looks like a bash on her but someone has to set you guys straight...

lol at her claiming to have 51% ROI at any level over a significant sample. Maybe if you count multi table games wherwe 100%+ ROI is sustainable, but she certainly doesn't have 51% at any buy-in level in single table SNGs only, especially since the gambling bill."
Quote:
Jennifear: "I have a very nice ROI over a very large sample size, at very small limits, for single table SNGs only.

I have an ROI of over 51% over 6000 SNGs at the $5 level. LOL if you would like, and I cannot prove it.

I agree that 51% is not sustainable since UIGEA even in the $5 games."
FWIW...

1200 sngs is less than a month worth to a Full time SNG player. Plenty of people here have run that hot over that sample.

I guess the 16k she won from $5 sngs allowed her to move up to $15's, who really cares about roi anyway.. all about $/hr.

she also wrote that she plays 10% of the time and teaches 90%; and gave out her screen name over like 5 or so sites, i only posted two of them (ran out of searches). this may explain the low sampling. 1200+ seems like a decent measure of skill at them, ive played 800+ and my roi hasnt changed after like 300 of them and i work on my game.

P5s "seems" guy vs Founding Father of STTF

HMMMM I WONDER WHO HAS A BETTER IDEA OF WHAT CONSTITUTES A REASONABLE SNG SAMPLE SIZE

Assuming a 10 player SNG with 5:3:2 payout structure. The expected variance in payout would be:-

----------1st place-------------2nd place------------3rd place
1200 * ( [(5*5) * (0.9*0.1)] + [(3*3) * (0.9*0.1)] + [(2*2)* 0.9*0.1)]) = 4104 (buyins^2)

So the SD would be ~64 buyins. Or and ROI of about 5%.

She's definitely a winning player at $15 SNG's. Whether that means she's any good at poker is another matter.

In the other BBV thread that came up about here a while back there were defenses of her with "wow look at the ROI- she must know what she says."

I think much of the ripping comes based on the claims to be the best/among the best, because she doesnt even play many of the games herself that she is likely coaching for.
There is much more smoke than fire to her claims.

Edited to take out the part where I said I thought it was revealed she played a lot of multitable sngs- because I could be mistaken on that memory so won't make it a point right now.

You really think I'm awful pudge?

Tell ya what, go find someone else with a 39% ROI over 11,000 SNGs, at any level. Until you do, you have no basis for an argument. It's possible I made a mistake or two in the SNG we reviewed together, but your analysis had mistakes in it too. So if you want to call me imperfect, have a blast, but awful? LOL.

variance works both ways, how do you know if its a positive 5% or a negative 5%
