Cliffs please? Seem to have missed something big here...

must say jdawg has handled this with way more class than I'd have managed. I'd be even more tilted by the "bettors must opt in to continue" decision, than by the original ruling.

Cliffs:

Josh crushing prop bet.
Turns out he had some loser old accounts way back when.
Judge rules that this constitutes a reason for people to back out of their bets, which they were losing.
Judge also rules to put a break in the middle of the prop, so that even if people wanted to continue, the 2 day break would give Josh an advantage.
Josh decides to continue the bet without adding the 2 days to the end of the time period, putting himself at a disadvantage.
Judge has already ruled that people can back out, and it seems tons have, because they realized they were going to lose the bet.
Everyone disagrees with judges decision, and feels bad for Josh.

I think that was it.

I dont feel like reading the whole thread but this pretty much sums up the way I feel as a bettor as well. I don't really care about the money as I considered it lost in the first place anyway. Now that the bet has been changed significantly, I'm not sure what I want to do, as it now turned into a different bet.

Pulling out I feel like I'm cheating jdawg, staying with the bet I feel like I got screwed. If anyone comes up with a solution then I'd like to hear it.

Ill opt in to have my bet standing as well.

It's great that a lot of you guys are keeping your bets, especially since Josh is ending the bet on the original date specified in OP and not taking the extra two days the judge would have allowed incorrectly.

Yes, even though he lost two days when he was told by the judge not to play while he came to some form of judgment.
