ty ty ty. about to make a blog post regarding the last day of the challenge. it wont be extensive, as I am very tired, but the blog is going to stay up. I figure I'll keep it going, but the nature of it will be different. I will talk about my experiences as a professional poker player. I will also keep people updated on my pursuit of finding a good mid stakes coach. I figure if I talk about all my strengths and weaknesses as a poker player from during the challenge, and post challenge, there will be some valuable information and lessons in there.

ty ty ty. I guess the question my friends asked me throughout this challenge was, could you have done it without the prop bet? To that I answer, I dont know. I never talked about the whole process as this decision came about, or did I? My brain is fuzzy. Well here is the timeline:

Early July: completely fed up with FullTilts software problems, and left their site for good, and made my return to pokerstars after being gone for 9 months.

...At that point I got excited about playing on PokerStars for the rest of the year, and going for SNE in 2010. I made an original goal of hitting 400k vpps this year to lock up some decent milestones.

....I Told Patsy about my plan, to pursue SNE in 2010, and of course i had to explain to her what the hell SNE was. I explained it to her, and what does she say: "Why cant you do it this year?" I laughed and said, "It would be impossible to do it in 5 months." We talked on the phone a little longer, and I soon went to bed.

...next day..on the phone with Patsy again...still talking about SNE pursuit 2010 (maybe i talk to her about poker too much, but I am glad I did!). Patsy proclaims "Seriously why can't you do it this year?" I reply: "It can't be done, but fine I'll do some calculations to see how impossible it would be"

I did the math, and it didnt seem any easier or harder then I anticipated, but seeing it on paper inspired me I guess. It was literally at that point that I made a split second decision to do it. I walked around the house excited and nervous, calling some friends. I called Giles, and he said: "I bet you can get prop bet action" Next thing I know theres 45k in action against me and a thread with people following this bet.

I guess the point is, I was set up so I couldnt fail i my mind. I was going to do this without any prop bet or thread. Would I have made it? I have no idea. I will say this; without Patsy this never would have happened, without Giles, there would have never been a prop bet. Without Dave, I would be starving in December. Without Spaghetti, I never would have gotten out of my losing streak in Septeber. Without Squizz, there would have been no Theamine to balance out the caffeine and ephedrine (haha). Without this thread and the handful of guys constantly encouraging me, I would have no motivation. Without the haters, I would have had no extra motivation. So thank you to everyone who contributed.

If it is true that I have inspired people, then that makes me really happy. Professional gambling is a struggle, and if I was able to help others in the least bit by doing this challenge, the same way everyone in this thread helped me, then all the better. So thank you again.

No because I have a full year to do SNE. My goal now is to improve; it is going to be hard to manage both tasks (SNE2010 and improve), but hopefully I will manage.

I am on a similar journey, just need 255.32 VPPs to get Supernova by tonight and then I'll be making some serious improvements to my game so I can 1) Crush 2) Maintain Supernova.

I'll clear it up because I was the one that got her to flash those awesome titties. I turned on the ustream bc i remembered you should be finishing up by about then, but you were already drinking o'douls (btw WTF man?) and the girls were drinking champagne from the bottle and jumping around on your bed. I saw the girl in the black tank had some "great NY boobs" so I wrote "yo ballcup tell that girl with the annoying voice to show her titties" on your ustream wall. I look up at my tv for like 20 secs, then I look back at the screen and the next thing I know she picked up the webcam and pulled her tank down revealing 2 VERY nice titties and squeezed them for the camera and everything. I BUSTED out laughing so hard because i have been trying to use the "yo girl show me your titties line" for like 4 years and it finally worked (it was a college joke). The fact that there were like 70 viewers on the webcam was pretty funny too.
