Any video card can run any monitor...You can even use a onboard, obviously with onboard i doubt ull get 1900x1200 or w/e the resolution is for 30inch's but you CAN still run it. And any eVGA or ATI card with drivers can run any monitor.

Maybe you think monitors are powered through your computer? Every monitor ive ever had has its own plug.

Monitors use 0 power from your computers power supply. Obviously a better video card hooked up to a bigger monitor is gonna use more power than a bad video card hooked up to a small monitor, but the monitors itself is not using power from your computer.

You don't use a HUD at all? Why not? Was it just too much information on all of the tables?

^^ actually his answer was more moronic than your question..if you want a 30" you'll need a video card with DVI-D plug otherwise you won't be able to support the max res, which is the benefit of a 30" monitor

obviously you didn't mean power as in electrical, if you plan on gaming on it at high resolution you need a very good video card, if you just plan to use it for poker and surfing, any card that support DVI-D plugs will work

This is a video game forum? No this is a poker forum so why would I assume hes gonna be playing high-resolution video games...therefor any video card that is produced now adays even the 70$ ones are DVI and even Dual DVI nowadays, every single monitor nowadays is DVI or VGA with DVI adapters.

oh look a 59$ card with dual monitor capabilities (1 DVI and 1 VGA and u can get DVI-VGA and VGA-DVI connectors if the monitor/video card doesnt come with it when they usually do.) OHHHH and look it supports 2560x1600 the largest resolution for a 30" monitor!!!

Please find me a video card that inst discontinued that does not have DVI connections, and if it doesn't show me that it doesnt come with a DVI>VGA adapter.
