Mods here are pretty good so could be pointless but you never know what can happen in bbv

Main reason is to exile the mod can't be on that list in the software so they would have to be taken out of other forums they mod for that month as well which is a problem.

Wrt voting private then making public later, the software doesn't allow for this afaik.

IMO only the contenders should be allowed to vote. No fun if the vote is decided by people who rarely visit bbv or gimmicks

March '16 accounts will be disqualified for sure. I think we'll be lucky to see 10-15 votes per poll in a wide open field, and like 3-6 total from the 64. Probably should allow the multiple choices option for everyone in case there are 2 or 3 players they want to pick in one group.

I could be way wrong, though. If the first group comes out wide open and the 64 reg votes are completely swamped by unknown randoms, we can talk about restricting it after the fact and only count the reg votes. That's exactly what we'd have to do in any case, as there is no technical way of stopping people from voting.
