i was 150bb deep 1/2 . with pocket 5s in the hijack facing a raise from the bb of 8bbs i flat and so does the cut off and button everyone was over 200 bb deep. flop comes out 55Q two spades. bb lets out for 50 dollars into 60 dollar pot. i flat and cut off folds , the button tanks forever and folds. when he folded i saw he had pocket sixes. the turn is a six and the bb checks. i let out for a quarter pot sized bet, bb tank calls. the former button is throwing a fit now that he sees he would have turned a set. i am upset he didnt call at this point.so we go to the river and of course with my **** luck a six comes ( if the button stayed in the hand) completing his would be quads on the river and the flush draw on the flop as well. bb checks. my mind essploded over how close i came to eating another **** sandwich then realize action is on me. i shove river ( because i bluffed the bb previously on the river with all in then showed him). bb calls i show my hand and the former button loses his **** and i think how close i came to continuing my run bad. took down 600$ pot so i am happy now but almost wasnt. im a little drunk btw. wanna fight about it.
