Today will be maybe one of those days that I'll never forget, really.
I'm very tired right now, but I'm willing to write this even though most of people will find this boring, etc, or have lived it themselves.

I remember exactly the first time I had a dowswing, when I started playing ( 1-tabling) and killed almost half of my BR. Now 1/4 is gone...
Struggling this month (played 120k hands) was pointless. Noticed that I was playing bad because of the amount of tables, reduced them a bit, and things started to go a little better.

Got absolutely sick of 6-max games (NL25), and moved to NL50 FR with a 80 BI roll. But unfortunately luck was the same. Nothing changed. 23 BI lost in two days.

Well actually I should've quit the last session considering I'm quite stressed (mentally and physically), was playing fine but I still can't believe how sick I've been running lately...

What's even worse, is that I've seen nothing but coolers and setups since a few months ago. I've lost absolute confidence with my game, furthermore, every time I start a session, winning seems to be impossible, it's just a costant feeling that I cannot understand, and once I lose 4 BI, I know there won't be a way to get them back, coz I don't get any action, or whenever I get action on very tough spots, I'm dead as ****.

This month was sick. Most of hands were played in NL25 SH, break even, as said before. Yesterday had a ****ty day. Today was the ****ing same.
In the morning, losing session. Got tired and went for a quick walk, mainly to clear my mind. While walking the streets, unexpectedly met some friends. After being with them, I went back to home fully refreshed to start the last session. Although I had renewed my energies to begin it as usual, suddenly I started to lose and lose. Sigh. Now I'm facing my worst downswing...

Seriously, in other words, I don't know what the **** should I do now... Dropping down a limit for sure, and building my roll back again. Now I'm gonna go to bed, and I just hope I don't dream with any ****ing cards flying around.

I don't have any other choice than stand up and face this situation. Tomorrow will be another day.

BTW: Tilted off lots of BI aswell... The fact that most of people I know, doesn't know anything about poker, I just don't have anyone to talk to, I'm feeling kinda depressed right now, and really it sucks to feel this way :/

take a temporary break from NLHE, and try a different game, then go back to NLHE when you don't feel tilted. Be "confident" that you will pull yourself out of this downswing, and it'll happen for sure.

Go play 10K hands of cheeseburger stakes (2NL) just to get the downswing out of your chest... and jerk off to Hermione.

take a break. get your confidence back by winning at lower games, and come back.
dont play if your not confident, confidence is KEY.

Try cutting yourself. Also want to suggest trying a McBender. Thats 100 double cheese burgers eaten in a week. Will take your mind off poker. GL.

the smart thing to do is to move down and grind
the cool thing to do is to move up and get lucky

Well guys thanks for your words and funny pics LOL
I do need to concentrate a lot on my game and my ego, have to work a lot on my mindset. Deffo ain't playing my A-game during these sick swings... Won't go busto for sure, but I hope to establish myself soon in the low limits.

Today I played ~10k hands mixing a bit early on the day NL10, got bored of stealing blinds with ATC with horrendous success and went to NL25 to get some action, which I did. Ran very good to be honest ... still made errors, I need to get them off of my game before I go back to NL50 of course... I guess I'm fine at NL25...

Anyways I can't tolerate that much the fact that I lost in two days almost as much as I could win in a month of sick grind... Of course I won't try in a hurry to get my money back, and just gonna take this sh** as a lesson.

Seriously guys... What the f*** do you do when are constantly being outplayed or not hitting any of your cards?

Maybe I should ask this question on another forum.

Post some of the hands in strategy forums that you feel you are being outplayed, or have a buddy review a session. Going through a period where you feel like you are getting set up and coolered can cause you to develop bad habits or new leaks.

It's just way too likely that you're doing something wrong when you start losing, that gets magnified when you start to tilt harder. You owe it to yourself to stop and examine your approach. It will also help your confidence in your game, no matter how many or few problems you find. (But seriously, if you don't find any, get some second opinions, there's always ways to improve)

If stress puts you on your C game then you may as well be using that time to review and learn

I'm surprised at the number of serious responses ITT.

Op: hit the strat forums, go back thru crucial hands in your sessions, and most importantly, try not to tilt. Gl

yeah, either they're ******ed (obvious and dumb comments apart) or just posted stupid things to cheer me up. If it's the latter, then I'd say some worked and made me LOL.

Well actually there's no point on crying anywhere, but fu**, had to do it.

Try signing up to a different poker site and playing there, obviously people will say this makes no difference, but you'd be surprised what fresh scenery can do for you.

Big mistake if you are new to fullring by jumping straight in at 50NL and expecting to beat it, especially if you were playing a 6-max LAG style.

Definitely move down and write off that loss mentally before playing again otherwise you will subconciously be trying to chase your losses IYSWIM.

The trying a different game thing, tata always works for me. Not just a variation of poker, I'm talking a completely unrelated game. Whatever you're into man, chess, call of duty or warcraft, doesn't matter, just find a game that you are sure not going to tilt at, and return to the tables when you're refreshed. I installed Frozen Throne just to load it up whenever I'm running like hell. I am horrible at the game but I couldn't care less. It serves its purpose perfectly.

I played most of hands on fullring tables, once I reached NL50 (didn't grind it that much), moved to NL25 SH to try something different. I guess I didn't apply correctly the game on SH to FR tables, and viceversa when started.
This is my overall NL50 FR graph.

Spoiler:

tbh there's quite a big difference between NL50 and NL25... maybe?
I've noticed that, from what I've experienced, at NL10 (haven't played it for a long time ago) you could steal without any problem, NL25 is almost the same story and some people very often start defending their blinds... and on NL50 you start getting a lot more tough action.

Sum all that things up, running bad, playing like a ****** monkey, tough players constantly touching your nuts; green line straight down to hell guaranteed. Sigh.
