Daytona........

I have been playing more the last few months and am actually getting a goo handle on different people and game-table selection.

After a table change i get up 75 dollars or so......real fishy table where everyone is raising preflop 15-20. I get pocket kings and oblige to the 15 dollar raise. 3 callers. Flop comes Kh-7s-9c. I am first to act and check. 2 other checks and a bet of 15 again. I make it 45, 2 folds and a call by original 15 bettor. Turn is a 4h. I bet 45 and get called. River is Ac, i check followed by a check. I win after he doesnt show. I just figured he has 5-6 looking for a straight.

Next hand i get pocket 5's. I call a $10 bet. Flop comes K-9-5 rainbow. $35 and a call and for some reason i didnt see the call and ask the original bettor how much he has behind and he says 55. I make it 90 total and then i see Mr Big stack go all in and he has me well covered. I am thinking they have 2 pair or maybe top pair....original bettor calls clock on me......i just let it run out.....and muck my hand to see Mr Big stack show K-K. Cool just saved myself some money. Original bettor had 5-9 for the 2 pair. I said i had pocket 5's and no one believed me....lol.... great laydown on my part. I guess it's the nuances of the game that i enjoy.

I go back the next day since the wife wanted to go shopping. I told her to drop me off and i'll play for an hour....have a refreshment and get up70 or so.....i get an A-4 os with a flop of 4-4-A and after 3 checks i go all in for 150 or so and get no callers of course....well a fe crtique my play....and i know it wasnt the right one...just lookin gfor 1 caller. A few at the table seemed to be playing that way with some very very loose calls.

Then my best hand and outcome................
I get Kh-Qh.......This is Saturday and they have $750 1/2 hour high hands. I raise to $10 and get 4 callers. FLop is Jh-9c-7s. We all check. 10h hits the turn...beautiful,,,i hit a straight with the chance of a royal or stf to the K. We all check the turn again and i dont bet any cause i want to see the river. As Ah hits the river with this being the last hand for 1/2 hour period.....all check again...they all show pretty much nothing as i show my royal and collect the $750 hh. I buy the table drinks, tip the dealer and waitress and brush who cashed me. Then wifey calls and says she is ready to go but to take my time....i cash at the cage and show her the benjamins.......

I get pocket Q's, flops comes Qs-4d-Qh. I check along with 3 others. Flop is a Jd. check, check check and a $10 bet. I call. 2 others fold. $10 bet on the river after a 10h hits, i raise to 35 and he calls with his straight.

Was this one ok?

Op, you play your big hands way too fast. You should start slowplaying vs fishes, everyone knows it's the way to go.

However, triple checking the straight flush multiway was a nice move though you could also fold river for balance.
