Actually calling with KT isnt a bad move simply because most people shove it with Ax. KT has alot better chance of not being dominated by aces with higher kickers

AK, KQ and sometimes KJ are 3betting hands, KT is a very bad call.

Op, you played well. Bad luck. Move on.

You are small blind and he is maaaayking a poseeshun rayyse....at his "high level of poker" he's probably ahead of most hands that donk shove from SB there....

As played, 3 bet to 2/5 your stack....it looks more like you want to get some chips in there...if he calls, 789 is an easy enough flop to get away from with AQ, its in that button range....

The two or three of you suggesting that he should've done anything other than ship 15bbs with AQ to a button min-raise are clueless.

Villain makes a fairly loose call but maybe wanted to gamble if he thought small pairs and A-rag type hands are in your range. I've seen similar calls made in tourneys of all size buy-ins. GL next time.

OMG, no strat in BBV!~

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 39.017% 36.04% 02.98% 1436642844 118681236.00 { KTo }
Hand 1: 60.983% 58.01% 02.98% 2312238396 118681236.00 { 22+, A8s+, KTs+, QTs+, JTs, T9s, ATo+, KTo+, QJo }

So he needs 42% to breakeven and he's 39% against a reasonable reshoving range. It's not exactly the kind of mistake that will make it impossible to beat Sunday donkfests. No one's perfect.

Actually, put in a little wider range (if you'd somehow been aggro over the sample he had on you), and it's fine:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 43.470% 41.02% 02.45% 2267210484 135539820.00 { KTo }
Hand 1: 56.530% 54.08% 02.45% 2989027188 135539820.00 { 22+, A2s+, K7s+, Q8s+, J9s+, T9s, A9o+, KTo+, QTo+, JTo }
