Began bragging to friends at uni about epic poker winnings, before proceeding to lose about $3500 playing Blackjack for laughs in front of them.

They leave my dorm room and I turn into a ball of rage. Pressed in laptop mousepad so hard it's dented. Hurl abuse in every possible direction. Manage to break my notice board by throwing a graphics tablet at it.

Initial rage subsides and I decide I need to calm down so I grab a skateboard that I haven't used in at least 3 years and attempt to skate around campus. This results in a dislocated shoulder and several months of physio.

Explaining all this to the parents was the best part.

Accidentley stabbed a blond woman and some waiter...thankfully no one saw.

Wouldn't exactly call it a bad beat but...I once tried to throw peanuts in the air and catch them in my mouth 10 consecutive times. Kept failing and consequently bit a door handle in rage. Chipped my tooth and started crying

WTF? Did you kill/maim somebody?

Usually just type wtf and quit or start clicking the raise button really fast on all my tables.

Mine are boring but here is a good one I saw.

Guy in seat 1 sucks out on guy in seat 7. GIS7 starts making fun of GIS1 for about 10 min.

GIS1 says "Look i really did get you bad Ill give you $20 back." GIS1 pulls out a $20. GIS7 stands up to come get it. As he is handing the $20 to GIS7 he smacks (open hand) GIS7 across the face. I mean hard enough to make him fall to the ground.

Cop in the room comes over and arrests GIS1 for smacking GIS7 after talking crap.

My old roommate works in the room and he said for the entire time he was on his break he was watching the video of this guy getting smacked. He said it was so much better in slow motion.

Love some of these responses and mine are usually very lame comparatively. I just slam my hand on the table or occasionally hit my sofa or pillow. I have also gotten in the habit of, when in a MTT, when pushing all my chips in, just not watching the rest of the hand only to return after I hear that the chips have been shoved to the winner, it works surprisingly well. Highly recommend for those looking to address the problem.


On a side note one time my friends and I were playing an NBA Jam tournament together and I want to emphasize Jam. Well we played round robin where I didn't lose a game only to get to the elimination bracket against the worst player who hadn't won. So naturally he pics the Pacers and Reggie Miller and all he does is shoot 3 bombs and beats me. I end up throwing a box full of Lego's at him while everyone else is roflol.


Also had a roommate who broke his closet door in our door room b/c the Lakers came back after being down 25 to start the 4th quarter against the Mavs.

i lean back in my chair as I play. I lost some horrific beat. I do my usual 'WTF' rant etc. My fiance looks over at me and says something along the lines of 'What is your problem? I hate when you talk like that'

I call her a 'f*ck ass' and she levels me by barely tapping the back of the chair.

You grossly underestimate how awesome warranties are. I punched my laptop screen, creating the wonderful spiderweb effect on the LCD after disconnecting once. I took it to our school's tech desk and told them it was open on my bed and something fell off a shelf and onto it. They gave me a loaner until HP sent a new screen.

Good times.

threw my swively computer chair across the room and broke off one of the wheels. sadly three years later I am still sitting in that same chair right now.

also back in the day playing on pokerroom one night I tilted off my 3K bankroll shortstacking 25/50 limit holdem and proceeded to punch a hole in my kitchen cabinet which I still dont think is fixed

I lost 500 to a 1 outer(AQ vs QQ) with a Q on the river(all the money went in on the turn) playin at Binions. Got up and lost another 500 playing BJ in 3 hands then had to take the bus home because I was broke
