if this is real does it prove party poker is rigged? whats the chance of him hitting a two outer to beat the quads and then a One outer to lose the jackpot?

This stupid thread is 3 months old and I never opened it b/c of the title. Not until today when i got linked here through another thread.

This is sick, and this has a terrible title.

Title should be something more final. Like "Bad Beat of the Year/Decade" or whatever.

See my post, "What Are the Odds". After seeing your post I'm hesitant (to say the least) of playing on that site again.
So, whatever the odds in a true mathematical sense, I suspect one would have a better chance of being eaten by a shark in Kansas than both of us taking this kind of beat on the same site!

what were you thinking capping the river? the 4 to a straight flush wasn't enough to convince you that you were probably beat?

also raise pre-flop.

Perplexingly, PP's rules for the BBJ tables actually made this bad beat far worse than it would have been w/o the lost jackpot. And it was plenty bad already. For this, they should have awarded Heroine double the jackpot. Unbelievable.

The only beat worse than this would be in a no limit game, where the losing player folded on the river in the face of a big bet (say, im this very hand, if villain had AcKc, moved all in for huge bet, quads forgets he's at BBJ or something.)

Think of this as a sacrifice... Now whenever anyone who reads this post gets drawn out by a 2 outer in a gigantic pot can realize that no matter how hard they get raped, they will never touch what is the greatest bad beat of all time. Now imagine this person had muderous tendencies, and was contemplated murdering someone in rage of the BB. Then they thought of this post and calmed down... You could have saved a life or something. That's worth a BBJ right??....??
