Today I was playing at a home game (200NL) and I had a crazy run of cards. I had recently (2 hands earlier) pushed when a flush hit on the river (bluffing) and got called by the nut straight; so I pushed all in every hand in this crazy run. I was hoping I'd get called down by someone thinking I was on tilt.
Can anyone tell me what the odds are of having this exact run?
And has anyone had a run similar to this one?
As I said, I pushed all-in every hand right from the first pocket aces and didn't get called down once until the AKo. Villain had AQo and I managed to double up. When we were both all-in I told everyone at the table of the run I had just had (this is a regular home game I attend and we're all friendly) yet not one person believed me. Nor do I blame them.
