so there was this tourney the other day, not a big tourney, but i decided to play it because when the card room sees a pro like me playing the tourney, they all decide they want to jump in because they all want to play with the pro.

so it was about 9k to the winner. i'm up to 40k early from 10k starting, but then i get unlucky in a couple of hands where my 54 lost with middle pair to kings and some other hand where the guy had queens and i had queen ten, and i'm down to 20k. at 150/300 some clown raises to 700 from under the gun. everyone knows that raise just invites callers because it's not even 3 times the blind. you have to raise to 4 times the blind always preflop.

3 people call so i call with my 74 of hearts because it's a good suited hand that gets straights. flop comes king 3 9 with 2 hearts so i have a flush draw. the guy who raised bets 3500, everyone folds but me.

the turn is a 5 so now i have a gutshot to go with my flush draw and he goes all in for 10,300.

i think about it for about 5 minutes staring at him and asking him questions. he looks like he wants to go home so i ask if he wants to go home. he didn't say anything and kept watching the baseball game and that always looks like a guy who's bluffing so i think he has pocket queens or something. i tell him he's bluffing and he probably has pocket queens. i say, **** it, i don't care, i call, i play hearts and a 6.

he flips over ace king. the river comes 2 of hearts and i slam the table and scream THERE IT IS at the top of my lungs and high five everyone who wants to high five me as the entire room is looking at me because i'm screaming. i turn around and say "i knew you were bluffing" but the guy already left. the nerve of this guy that he didn't even say nice hand to me. that's total disrespect
