If you can't troll in BBV, then wellsir, I don't know what's right in this world anymore. Sorry for being a jerk OP. Just trying to have some fun. I didn't mean to make an enemy. Can we xoxo and make up?

Also I know what you mean about douchey regs being bad for the game, but again, this is BBV. You gotta expect it.

Its all good. when you reload how about doing a PG n C so you have some motivation to stick to BRM
05-19-2014 , 07:34 PM
At least you don`t post itt anymore

minus 3 buyins today, 1 bi on thunder and the points.

had to do it
05-19-2014 , 08:32 PM
wtf is pg n c? and yeah ive reloaded. stickjing to BRM. But jesus micros are boring. How the hell do you make money on Bovada micros? its like if i nit it up i make .5/hr if i play loose i get shoved on by one of the 8 short stacks at the table.
05-19-2014 , 08:37 PM
progress goals and challenges.

the micros arent about a monthly check, its only a step in the ladder.
05-19-2014 , 08:40 PM
My way through the micros was to play $5 dons only until I built up my roll. Than I added $5 9 man sngs once I was at $250. I added 10nl at $300 and so on and so forth. Right now I play 25nl and $10 9 man sng's.

yeah, i have transitioned to cash games. I don't plan to get a check once a month from playing micros. But how can I move up the ladder when I make .5/hr. play 2000 hrs then move up?! If thats what I gotta do thats what I gotta do, it just seems like my time would be better spent loading up $200 and playing 10nl. But that just seems like asking for trouble. Really I just want my online cash game to be a bread and butter that can cover entry fees for Mtts, but then im using my BR in 2 places. Also my more long term goal is to be able to be able to beat 1/2 live. Like really beat it, make a modest living out of it. anyway yeah Ive been thinking about making a pg n c. Im getting better about tilt and chip spew, hopefully ive learned my lesson about BRM, but I want to be where I am going to get the best training for 1/2 live, and practice, without dropping the money it takes to play live until I really feel solid in my cash game. Anyway, yeah gonna make a pgnc tommorrow, Ill make a good one.

I play live at Harrah's New Orleans. The 1/2 game here plays big. I'd say the equivalent or bigger of 2/5 in other states and poker rooms. I imagine you could make a living playing 1/2 in this poker room if you were single. Otherwise I believe you need to be atleast playing 2/5 to play for a living.

My fear is if you deposited $200 you would get bored at 10nl and take shots. One of the most rewarding things about beating the micros is the hard work and dedication that it teaches you. It makes you value each buy in because you can remember how long it took to make.

However I wouldn't play 5nl, way too ****ing boring. I feel that way about 10 nl now so I play it as little as possible.

Yeah Im single and I live off the grid with very little expenses. I only want to make $500/week. I wouldn't mind playing 50+hr/week if thats what I had to do. Btw the one poker room in my state usually has 3 1/2 tables and a few days a week there is a 2/5 table. But most people there are really really bad, like worse than me, but the sharks all play at those tables too. Is this attainable? But yeah I like what you are saying about appreciating the buy ins. Like I said getting better about chip spew and tilt, because the longer I play I am seeing just how valuable every penny is in the long run. I just gave up an addiction of mine in the name of discipline, because with discipline I can hopefully start following BRM. Not like I just play willy nilly whatever stakes I feel like, but it's when I take a shot and do well, I don't want to go back down even though I don't have the BR to cover it. So right now my BR is 41.77, just keep grinding 5nl because thats what Im rolled for? That's really my only smart option right? I have to play some mtts here and there though because they are just hella fun, I dont mind playing $1-2 mtts but is that going against what I should be doing, with my previously stated goals?
05-19-2014 , 09:16 PM
Also I have tournament indicator. It helps me sooo much on mtts, but Im naked in cash games. I play 4 tables in micros but I defenitely miss some reads. Should I just buy HI or drop down to 1-2 tables? Its just so many people coming and going all the time I can't keep track of who is who so I just nit it up and mostly play lvl 1 poker.

Lots of things to adress and I'll adress a few.

You aren't rolled for mtt's. If you want to play mtt's I would reload. 100 bi's is the number that I am sticking to now. I use to believe 25-40 was legit but If you want to be comfortable go 100.

Ive never used a hud, I've decided when I reach 1000 and I'm ready to move to $10 mtt's I'll buy holdem indicator. I'm also trying to see if Poker Tracker 4 is compatable with Bovada?
05-19-2014 , 09:47 PM
Also if you don't mind playing over your limits, the double or nothings are a good place to build your roll
05-19-2014 , 10:44 PM
Yeah I enjoy mtt's but my goal isn't to grind them, just play one here or there for a break. I played a few don's the other day with not much luck. The only hud that works with bovada is TI and HI, but you can import into PT and HM for analysis.

and i made one http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/17...m-all-1444312/
