I know a 5/10 reg on 888. He keeps depositing though so he is always going to be a 5/10 reg. He isnt' very good at poker either but he is a 5/10 reg. He complains at the tables about running but but I think he just plays bad. He's a 5/10 reg btw.

The difference between playing a very focused and concentrated A game while 6 tabling and playing an ABC b+ game while 9-10 tabling is incredibly huge for me. It's almost surreal. I think I'm a winner playing both "styles / moods whatever you call it" but as soon as I play Bgame my redline just falls to -5 to -10bb/100 and with my 6tabling Agame it's atleast +10bb/100.

Anyways what helps me alot is watching 5minutes saucevideos on leggo before every session. Kind of prepares me for the next sesh and puts me into place. I don't know why I'm writing this but this maybe I'll get back to it when I feel like I'm losing my game again some day.

As for the worst running poker player 2013. I'm not running terrible or bad anymore. Probably back to 400/600NL by the end of this month

I find people who usually moan about running below EV or running bad or whatever (This included myself at one point) are actually being naive and get themselves into such a rut they feel they don't need to work on their game and feel EV lines are the bee all and end all.

It's not, far from it. I bet if you actually calmed down, took a while off and just took out one session and looked through all your hands you will be surprised at how bad you actually did misplay several hands, regardless of what your "EV" says I would switch it of and just focus on your game.

All you're doing now is blinding yourself by looking at "EV" when you shouldn't be.
