Anyway I wanted to know how many of you smoke that ganja when you play poker? I've always wondered how many of us are out there on the virtual felt. I think pot is a double edged sword- its great for handling downswings and great for the grind, however I've lost too many hands because I was too stoned to think right... I also wondered how many pro's/high stakes players smoke that green, and how they manage/control their smoking. BTW I'm a full time student playing mostly low stakes cash and sng.

I've found a major leak but it's too late to do anything about it...we've been married too long.

Marijuana is a hell of a drug

it takes me forever to make the most obvious plays when stoned. i have to double check im not missing something.

it depends if your smokin low grade soap bar or healthy weed

I can do one or two tables max if I play stoned.

The only downside I face is if I get all the way to the river. And villain raise me or pushes all in. Its like did he raise pre flop, what did he do on the flop/turn etc. How has he been playin the past 20 hands etc.

Its like **** **** fire la missles.

Not the best while playing poker, you need to keep your head in the game..not in the clouds.

I just had a -64BB/100 session (only 500 hands) while sleep deprived and slightly drunk. I wouldn't recommend it.

I think the REAL question is how can you play and NOT be high?

I can not speak for marijuana, but I notice when I am drinking and I play I miss so many small details. In cash games this kills me, in donkaments I find I often min-cash (why?) LOL to people who go by my HUD stats when I am drinking.

I have never smoked mj ever(beat?) but I would assume it adversely effects your concentration.

Meh-- I think it is all player dependent for sure tho.

Ya definitely that cali medical weed... green crack and sour diesel atm. I wonder how much better i would play if i played 100% sober, but i guess we will never know

I play stoned way too much and I'm a pro. I'm a gigantic call station when I'm high. Its the paranoia creepin in

I play single table micro stakes when I'm stoned out of my mind on stanky, sticky hydro.

I lose, but slowly. I find myself chasing draws waaaay too often--and I sometimes auto-fold due to timing out while staring into space.

It's a $$$ leak, but the game is much more fascinating and exciting when I'm blazed.

BEAT: Too many senseless bets of $4.20 feeding the hungry stacks of sober players.

BRAG: The Full Tilt avatars are much more fun to look at. Despite losses, it gives a new perspective to the game, which carries into sober sessions.

VARIANCE: Because I play on Full Tilt, bad play is often rewarded with massive river suckouts.

Im an everyday smoker, which is obv why i always play stoned. The beat comes when i get too high and walk away at the 5 min break to make foods and don't come back until i have 1BB left.
