preflop action is you raising 5xbb and stacks are 150xbb. i'd speculate a decent number of hands here, knowing my implied odds are high if i nail the flop.

in any case, seeing him flip 72o there is a shock, but by the same token, i can't figure how you think a shove is a good move here, seeing as i can count at least 8 reasonably legit hands he could be flipping over here that make your 10's look like the redheaded stepchild they are.

unless you had a sweet soul-read on this dude and knew he would make that play on a light board with total air.... but even then, a 110bb shove into a raise, with 1010?

The donkey is not smart, if he has AA,KK,QQ or JJ, it would be an raise pre-flop, he just bets his hands straight out pre-flop.

I put him on A7, and didnt want him to see the turn or river, cause if a "high cards hits" now what? - check to fold

I havnt played a freakin hand in ages, my thinking was if my tens are good at this point take it down happy with the pot, if he calls, hope he is calling with worse.
