I was playing with some of my friends at a home game (none of them play online and I regularly put in sessions at the mid-stakes online).
I was stupid enough to play my first buy-in ($20, at 0.25/0.50), like I was playing people online. I was on the button (we were 4 handed), and I had 32 offsuit. I decided to raise stupidly, to $1.50 and got 3 calls. Flop came K95, with 2 spades. I raised and got 2 calls. Turn was an A of spades. I checked after some thought after 2 checks, feeling I might've run into a flush or an A. River was a blank. 2 checks, and then I decided to shove all in. I could tell that they were both pretty weak. First person folded and then second person tanked for awhile, pondering what I could have. Eventually called and showed... K3 offsuit.
My fault though, I know. Shouldn't have played it like I wasn't playing beginners.
Then lost my second buy in with 98 of hearts. We all limped (I had decided to play loose and passive like them). Flop came JT4 2 clubs. I think we all checked, and then a 7 came on the turn. I raised, and got 1 call. River came a 4. I actually hadn't really noticed the board paired, and told myself I had the nuts. I raised and got snap called. I showed and lost to 74 offsuit.
Kinda pissed right now. Wasn't able to make up the loss unfortunately, so went down $40.

Brush off the loss OP , with hand recollection like that you'll make the money back at online midstakes in no time , quit posting here and get on it
