Hi, Im trey wingo1, plz read. Hi, Im trey wingo1, plz read.

hey guys, i played for the first time tonight on full tilt poker, well online in general.

i deposited $600 with a hope and a dream. i wanted to make something of myself, i wanted to be someone.

i started off playing 3/6 hu plo, i play plo live at all major casinos in AC, if you play there, you know me (2-5 / 5-10), i won a buyin and moved up.

i am not sure how it happend, but i know i was playing good and running even better, every all in, i won both times, i was also ahead both times as well.

i decided. if i want to be the best, i have to play the best. and so my adventure started.

i saw sauce123 sitting and i googled him only to find out he was a good regulaur. i sat down. i pulled a few bluffs and was up about 3k without showdowns, i think we were playin 10/20, i cant really remember. i am shaking so hard right now, the addrenaline is amazing.

i won a few buyins from him and he quickly sat out and left the table, after i played him, i didnt think the hype was all that much.

i then took a seat with brian townsend who was sitting alone at 25/50 hu plo. i quickly sat and asked "run it twice bry" i realize he is a heads up pro, but not sure who he really is. i stroked his ego, telling him i looked up to him, he inspired me and blah blah. all not true, as i said, i have no idea who he is. anyway he politefuly declined, saying it blogged up his holdem manager, not really sure what that is either.

same thing again, i played my a-game and it paid off, i wont a few stacks from him and then told him i didnt want to play 2 tables because 1 was boring? he agreed and we moved tables were the crushing still remained on my end. he won one all-in vs me and i quickly decided to stik to 1 table and keep 3/4ths of my roll in play (10k) we played about fifty hands and i stacked him off for roughly 30k. after that, i could not play anymore, that hand was insane if there is some way to look it up. i dont have flash player so i couldnt see the last hand through the program. i said ill bbl if u want to play, he said sure but i prolly wont be here, we can play again sometime.

i was then chatting with the rail, and i asked were do online poker players meet up and after some research i found this to be one of the most populaur forums online. and a rather friendly railbird, who also told me i can find my stats at www.pokertableratings.com (which has not yet been updated.)

anyways, so now i have 30k and i really dont want to piss it away, i know my hands can't hold up like they did tonight every day and teh swings will be huge (brian told me this, he really was a nice guy)

the railbird also told me that noone will believe me so i took a screen shot of my account while im posting this and in about 30 mins i am going to get back on the tables and grind some more (probably going to set a stop less at 2-3 buyins and take the 15k profit and do something nice for myself, help my mom pay for some surgery she needs.

anyhoo, if you around, you can watch me play, just say twoplustwo, and ill confirm that is indeed me and hopefully you can watch me ship some more 30k pots!

oh im so worked up i forgot why i posted, well to brag a little but more to

what should i do/play if i dont want to go broke? what do you guys suggest? i have played probably over 20k live hands of plo in 5 yrs, i know im not the best or even close, so anything helpful would be great

cash out a good chunk and grind the rest at lower stakes. You had a successful shot don't lose it all back.

(this would have been a good thread for bbv btw)

Ok, watched this for a while but he's just playing 2knl against a nit. Basically who cares, and most likely will die a slow death.

He was bringing it on the deep table, and he did only buy in 600 tonight, but he's now playing their game.

well, gl man, you're not the first and def not the last. I would cash out now if you need or care about the money at all.

edit: Ok think I talked him out of the slow death.

I don't believe this happened. If this did happen you should probably cash out the vast majority of it and move down to very low level games because you've just run incredibly hot so far and if you keep playing those guys your money will disappear very quickly.

And look up bankroll management because you clearly know nothing about it and without it you will most certainly eventually go bust .... everybody would.

Also this want to be the best so play the best stuff is nonsense. The goal is to make money and to do that you have to play against players who are worse than you and certainly not play HU against players who are 100 times better than you.

first off, suck it.

second off, i gave them all a run for their money. and the only spot i lost money, was to the worse player.

i never said i was the best, i said i wnat to be the best and i was, for 3 hrs, i was on top of the world, and im still up 3.5k

im not trying to make a living playing online poker

i was just simply seeing if i coul hang, and by golley i could

I answered your question honestly. I gave you the best advice I believe I could have. Apparently it came too late .... you already lost the vast majority of it back. It was inevitable and I tried to warn you. Don't get mad at me. Now take what you have left and give my advice some good serious consideration.

Even if you don't want to play for a living you can play for a hobby and for fun and make some money. You don't need to just throw all winnings away or lose a few K every year.

And why do you think you were hanging? You weren't. You went on a very very lucky streak and ran money up. You then lost most of it back. This all happens in one day over I would guess less than a mere 1,000 hands. You weren't hanging with them.. This happens to people from time to time ... they go on an incredibly lucky swing and just keep moving up regardless of anything and soon enough they lose it all.

If you want to be the best you should start off lower, start building a roll, and study the game to get better. (It will take years and years to become the best if you maage to do it ... not one day.) You shouldn't take the large money you just miraculously won and just jump into games you aren't rolled for with the current best players in the world. All that will happen that way is you will lose your money in a short span of hands.

He did play well. But hu is full of varience, as I'm sure most are aware...and it was lost in plo, need I say more?

Anyway I was somewhat able to stop him with a few grand left and might be helping him get some cash for the weekend, to party this off.

It takes balls to do what he did, no it's the the smartest, but it's ballsy. You guys have to remember he's up no matter what, and the 30k was made the same way it was lost.
