i just think your all pretty ignorant idiots and if i met you in real life id probably punch 45% of you in the face, i didnt make this thread to brag, people started banging on me as soon as i posted because you have no lives and are playing 1c2c or some ****, thinking, damn if i play this for like a year, then move to 1/2 and if i run good i can be playing 3/6 in 2 years and by the time im fifty i might be able to beat 5/10.

some of you are not, and to those, this is not directed at you.

i really wish you all luck, and myabe someday you can do something like i did tonight and withdraw some of the cash, but im not broke, i have more than what i made/lost tonight in a CD and a huge live bankroll. i realize that playing iwth the 30k in stakes way over the limit of that may have been dumb, but what if i was going to bed right now with a half a mill? who knows, didnt happen obv but it may, someday, until then i keep grinding the slow as reg invested live games. if any of u are ever in AC and want to play let me know, im sure ill check back fom time to time, thats not a challange but an invite.

anyways, im going to go make my girlfriend scream

have funn jackin it (to the haters)
Treywingo, I think you've got balls, running up $600 to $30k in a very short period, lose most of the roll, then stage a comeback to go busto in the end.
Like the "get rich or die trying" attitude.
Same next week?

I just wanted to let everyone know about my situation with TreyWingo1 (long story below), and ask for some advice.

At this point he has clearly scammed me, and he also has disappeared from AIM. With the help of some 2+2 members and a LOT of research, I now have his real name, his phone number, his address, and what I think is his parents' address.

At this point I don't know what I should do next. I feel like contacting the authorities is probably the least likely way to get my money back, with contacting his parents probably the most likely. However, I am obviously pissed, and part of me just wants to say screw it and contact the police in his area. He seems to have lost all the money I traded him on Stars anyway, so it is unlikely he'll be able to pay me back no matter what...

Any thoughts?

---

Long story:

He had a history on 2+2 as a guy who had run a small deposit up to $31k or so and lost most of it to Brian Townsend playing HU PLO. He wanted to trade $2k from UB (sn: STATI0NALERT) to Stars (sn: WTF Jimmy). Because of his history (as spazzy as it was), I just wanted to make sure he would send first, which he did (in chunks). It was fine until a short while later UB froze my account.

I contacted TreyWingo1 over AIM and he told me that UB wanted him to send in some documents. For a while he kept claiming that he was sending them in, but UB was denying that he did, and he was getting pissed off at UB. So, of course, I started suspecting that he may have scammed me. I posted in this thread about the situation.

At that point, I was contacted by a 2+2 member (I'm not sure if he wants to reveal his sn -- if he does he can reply to this), who has helped me out a great deal. He advised me to contact Stars and have them freeze his account, which I did. (Stars has been EXTREMELY helpful and communicative -- even though I never managed to retrieve any funds. UB support, on the other hand, has just been atrocious.)

TreyWingo1 eventually contacted me and told me that he had gone off on UB over the phone and thought his account was permanently closed. He also found out that Stars had frozen his account and I explained that I had to take that precaution in case he was scamming me.

A little later he offered to send me my money back (it was only $1400 at that point -- before my account was frozen, I had played and lost some money) if I would open his Stars account first. I asked him if he would escrow the money, he said no and that there wasn't any benefit to keeping it closed because there wasn't anything in there (apparently true). I can only assume that he wanted it opened because he had another victim ready to send him money on Stars. I still don't know what he wanted.

We ended that he would go to the bank tomorrow, withdraw $1400, and send me a picture of it, and then I would ask Stars to unlock his account. I had no intentions of doing this, but I wanted to keep him around as long as possible so that I had a better chance of finding out personal information -- at that time I did not have any addresses.

That's the last I heard from him. He has not logged onto AIM since.

I've been working with cbrash on this, along with a few others. Treywingo is not a good story, but just a typical scammer.

Matt, (treywingo), you know you ****ed up. Cbrash is giving you a chance to make this right, you need to contact him.

Some have advised cbrash to not only prosecute, but to also notify his parents. Cbrash has decided to give you one last chance to make this right.

If you think that cbrash can not do any of this you are in for a big surprise. It's not that he can't, it's that he has not yet. There are a lot of people involved with this, and he has been able to obtain all the info he needs.
