Considering you can currently leave a Party table with a lot of money and rejoin 5 seconds later with the min buyin again, I don't think they're hurrying to solve this problem.

That's pretty much why they're plannin to do it.. there was some thread about it herre, or was it in ssnl/msnl cheese..

have they fixed the automatic sitout next hand if you time out, error yet?

I think many fish would enjoy a 50bb minimum. The fish that buy in for 20bb or 30bb often have a lot of gamble in them and would enjoy playing with bigger stacks.

They already could choose to play 50BB deep if they wanted. They choose 20 or 30.

I doubt many of you can have an indepth discussion on anything

I understand that most of midstakes players have seen their winrates plummet over the past 18 months. Raising the edge of the 'expert' player is not the solution unless one wants the games to die off completely.

There is already a site that has a higher minbuyin. It's called Absolute. Check out the midstakes games there.

MT2R is allied with the preservation of weak online poker games. I don't see how helping the shark get money faster and faster from the fish helps the online environment at all.
MT2R is in this for the money and sold his soul a long-time ago when he even attempted to rationalize playing poker for a living as a good thing.

MT2R has no problem making a steady income playing fullstack. He just happens to prefer the shortstack as he can concentrate on much more worthy things with his precious mental attention than the game of poker.

Unfortunately the "more worthy things" in your case is more tables of shortstacking. In essence, this is depleting the fish of their funds much quicker. So your arguement that you want what's best for the games is invalid.

It's not like random gambooly fish buy in for 20bbs, run it up to 50 and then cash out...

Raising the minimum buyin would only really affect the ratholers.
