So I manage to play for 6 hours LIVE which is my specialty, since I can't seem to win online.

So it seems the gig of the night is I can't catch any decent starting hands. The entire night, hours on end, I'm getting 68 offsuit and 9-gap suited connectors.

This it the first session ever where I went this long without getting any decent starting hands. My best starting hand of the night was 55, the only pocket pair I received, which i FAIL majestically by not hitting a set. Got AK 4 times, lost 3 times and split one pot with AK.

Go up and down all night from 150-300 since I can't catch anything good and I don't wanna loosen up until I get a few chips in front of me, finally get tired and start playin garbage.

3 major hands:

1)J3 calls PF raise $20, flop comes 1073

Bottom pair, flush draw. I manage to get 3 people all in. PF raiser has QQ, my left has 56 and my right has A7 off??

obv Turn River 3 for ~$600 pot

2) UTG 93 limp $5

Table limps?! Pot starts at ~$40

Flop A9J

I lead out UTG with $35. 4 callers.

Turn 5

I check, MP goes all in for $96, LP calls $96, I call $96.

River 10 Check check.

All in has K5?! LP has 78 for busted heart draw, I drag ~$450 with a pair of 9's?! wtf

3) OUT OF THE RACKS I'm about $40 short of 2 racks ~$960 playing thru the button, LAST HAND

Folds to me on the button, 84, Raise $15.

SB folds. BB who is a MAJOR MAJOR loose CALLING STATION makes it $30. I said "awesome, minimum raise, I'm pot comitted for my $1,000 stack now" so I call.

Flop comes 982

He checks, I lead out to represent an overpair/top pair semibluff it for $40. He makes it $90, check raise, excellent.

Turn 6 hi.

He leads for $100, I hollywood it and ask how big his overpair is.

River 9

He LEADS OUT by going all in for $451.

All night he's been showing hands down like K4 offsuit and the likes, so I'm stuck, does this guy have 92 98 96 88 wtf. Higher flush since AK would def make that min raise in the BB when the button raises...

4 minute true thinking... I push a rack out and say "just because you're horrible I call"

He slams down AJ and accuses me of cheating and I must have saw his hand because there is 14 people around the table including the 2 floors but I am a cheater.

Tip dealer $20. Rack up $1600 KTHXBAI.

cliff notes: guy makes a bunch of spewy preflop decisions with bad hands and flops a lot of combo draws. they all work out for him. he does a tilt-inducing hollywood act along the way.

congratulations op on overcoming some major impediments and actually having a winning session.

I hate AK anyway but I did get it 4 times. Ranking wise I got 55 one time and AK.

I play tight-agressive online which is my regular style until I accumulate chips. I played for 2 hours without catching a single good hand so I had to start trying to mix it up and once I watched the players enough and good enough reads on weaknesses.

How did I know you'd chime in soon? You're like a psycho ex-girlfriend that just won't leave. I don't play Bodog anymore but any time you wanna play HU on FT so I can shut you up already, you be sure to let me know.

How did I play horribly bad? I played the cards I was dealt, played each player according to my reads.

If I hit a J high or 8 high flush, how is that different from an A high flush if I have the player beat and I win the hand? I call a monster $1200 pot with an 8 high flush you're calling me a horrible player but if it was an ace high flush, does that make me a genius?

Know why you can't win online?
You're just unlucky. I'm sure it has nothing to do with playing terrible.
