I know that most Micro-stakes players prefer to grind cash, but I'm taking a new approach at it... I put $50 online 3 weeks ago, and have been trying to grind it up with $1.20 9 Mans on Stars... Yeah, I'm up $1.70 after ~110 SnGs, not a big win, but I ran hot tonight...

First, I knocked out everyone in a 9 man, ending it in 26 minutes (remember, these are not turbos)

Second, I donked a HU win with a 1 outer on the river...

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00+$0.20 Tournament, 100/200 Blinds (2 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Hero (SB) (t8300)
Button (t5200)

Hero's M: 27.67

Preflop: Hero is SB with 10, K
Button raises to t5200 (All-In), Hero calls t5000

Flop: (t10400) K, Q, Q (2 players, 1 all-in)

Turn: (t10400) A (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: (t10400) J (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: t10400

Results in white below:
Button had Q, A (full house, Queens over Aces).
Hero had 10, K (unknown hand FFFFF8ED).
Outcome: Hero won t10400

Brag: Finished my session with a Royal Flush (or, according to flopturnriver.com, I won with "unknown hand FFFFF8ED"
Beat: 40 hours to make $1.70 so far...
Variance: Not really sure... yet...

Dude those SAGs are going to kill you. Even if you play Omaha hi/low and wait for the nuts, you will make more than a buck seventy every 40 hours lol.

A: I don't run good at cash
B: Grinding the 500 FPP Bonus (you don't get enough rake at any micro cash table that is within my BR to clear the bonus)
C: I don't run good at turbos

The $1.20s are the lowest variance for SnGs, and I need to play 500 of them for the instant $50... Is there a quicker way to clear a small bonus while still playing poker? If I can still have money from my deposit after the $50 bonus clears, then I also see it as a + to my BR...

I will admit that I took a 15 BI swing the first few nights playing, but I am improving...

I play the 9 Mans because of the following reasons

A: Less variance
B: BotP (had 1200 after 70 games last week, but got sick and couldn't finish the set)
C: Easier for me to Multi-Table

Yeah, I realized that... It's a 3 outer...

The funny thing was I didn't realize that I had won right away... I was shouting for a king, saw the Jack, and I was a little sad, until I saw the chip-animation heading my way... I had to double check everything...

You could just open up a few tables of 2NL and shove more profitably than this.
