The variance is a sea of discontent. Seek to heal this pain through your inner zen op.

You were multitabling NLH and 5 card omaha live? No wonder you are losing the moneys. Stick to one game play one table at a time, your results will probably improve instantly.

Maybe they should increase the rake so the pros won't be in this game

You deserve to lose 300bb if you are getting it in with only a full house here. Villain could easily have 86 for a straight.

I went on a $6000 down swing followed by a $8000 upswing.

Also the 64 and 79 are folds pre most likely

The only disgusting hand you posted is the QQ vs 55. If that really happened, eeeshhhhh

At $1/2?! Oh my god thank you I feel better. I'm happy with my action pre in those hands.

Yeah really happened. And v was one of the worst players I've ever seen. So happy to get it in :S

No at 2/5.

1/2 is pretty EZ game to beat with table selection and playing basic ABC poker.

Ive gone on a $2000 downswing in 1/2 and made over $40000 profit before moving up to 2/5. Took about a year and half playing 20 - 30 hours a week.

Tips to beating 1/2
3bet pre AA / KK / A5s / AKs only vs most players. IF players are raising wider throw in TT+. Most 1/2 players only raise QQ+ type hands. They even limp AK. IF they are the type to raise with KQ and JTs ect, start 3betting lighter. (this doesn't mean you should start limping - just raise over their limp - i like to go $10+ to avoid the rake trap)

Don't play a lot of non suited cards. The suitedness helps so much, as flopping a flush draw is a pretty good hand.

Double barrel dynamic boards vs stations - don't do this unless you understand who to bet against and what a dynamic board is.

Don't limp - it's generally a bad idea. I've seen successful players do it, but I generally avoid doing it.

Play position - there are hand charts to beat 1/2 that you can play certain types of hands for what position you are in. Go research this.

Always play deep - 1/2 players are awful at deep stack play.
