Wanted to know how you guys run on FTP. I used to play on FTP a while ago but couldn't take all of the bad beats. It was disgusting. Vast majority of the time getting my $ in as the favorite only to be rivered with the miracle out, etc.

Switched to Stars and really didn't encounter any of this crap. Been back on FTP for a while and am just getting killed with suck outs. Is this normal since this seems to be recurring or am I just running up against my variance and it's just a coincidence, AGAIN!

Am actually thinking about leaving FT and this time for good. Any help to talk me off the ledge would be appreciated!

If you move up to NL50 the beats stop though.

I run like god on FTP, and am taking such a raping on stars I hardly dare play there lol. Varience is MENTAL, people, even Leatherass moans about how amazingly cack/godly hes running, and he eats our swings for breakfast.

I only play at FTP and Cake actually just FTP for the moment and it can get very ugly at times but I think it's the same everywhere. Just part of the game.

ugh - just had back to back hands of my flush losing to a 4-outer full house and then I flop trip 5s with an 8 kicker to his pocket 8....last frickin 8 on the river for his full house

the object of the game is get as much money in the pot as you can in such a way as to maximize your suckout equity. don't be results oriented; just keep getting it in in -EV situations and variance will level itself out.

I haven't accumulated a lot of "G bucks" but I sure have accumulated a lot of "FTP bucks"
