Four people limp to me on the button. I look down at QJo. I consider limping too because of pot odds, but really what hands am I looking to make on the flop? It seems like anything I hit is likely to be dominated, so I fold.

Naturally, the flop comes KT9 rainbow. I silently groan, trying to hide my expression. Action is wild with three players all in on the flop, making the pot worth about $1,000.

Silly electronic table flips all cards on all-ins when the action is over. One dude also has QJ for the nuts, another dude has K9 for two pair, and another dude has KT for two pair. Turn was a 9, and the river was a blank, letting K9 take it down with a full house.

Did you consider squeezing pre since you were going to flop nuttage? Seems like the more ev play imo

I'm far from a rigtard but there is something up with those poker pro tables.

Have played them a few times ****faced at crown with mates when they used to have them cause you could get everyone on the same table.

The amount of set ups there were was unbelievable

Good use of hiding disappointment there OP. How much do you charge for drama acting?

PW, haha I remember these times too. Man every single drunk person was at these tables because they cbf being too "serious" which was pretty much free money. But agreed on how rigged these tables were. And how quickly they went. Not much rake to be made at 50c/$1

Yeah I probably played them half a dozen times if that but saw some of the biggest set ups of my life.

I'm convinced they were set like this to generate rake as they were uncapped 10% from memory. That was a long time ago however
