I've never been much of a gambler. My father always told me I didn't have the stones for it.

I grew up playing penny games with him, and I'll tell you, that sonuvabiitch never took it easy on me. You'd think with me being his son and all, that he'd cut me a break. But no, there he goes, check rasing me on the turn with no pair, no draw.

Lately, I've been in what you would call a downswing. I ran my bankroll up to about $100,000 in the last year, and am now about $20,000 in the hole. I'm not sure if I'm a winning player anymore, but damnd if I hadn't made some friends on the way up. Come to think of it, that may not have been a good thing, as it's what got me in this problem in the first place.

After I busted my last dollar at a 3/6 limit game, I approached my friend for a stake. He usually plays 5/10NL and has a bit of money too spare. I'm not gonna say the guy is cheap, but his last name is Weinberg, so you do the math.

After a bit of convincing, I manage to get $20,000 out of him. We work out a deal where I get 50% of the profits, and kick the rest back to him.

Within the first day of my stake, I bust the entire $20K. I'll admit now, it was dumb. I lost $600 at $2/4NL, and took my newfound roll to the craps table. In a drunken blur, it was gone. All $20,000.

It's amazing how sometimes a demon can take over you. You lose control and all of the sudden the hands placing the bets are not your own. Some will understand this, as you have been there before. If not, this is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

I don't condone my behaviour, trust me, but I felt I deserved a second chance. I went to weinberg to tell him what had happened.

"What do you mean you lost the stake, it's only been 2hours!" he yelled at me.

"I know," I replied, "I tried to run it up for us"

He looked shocked. "You really are a fcuking degenerate, you know that? Billy said I could trust you, that you're an alirght guy, but FCUK man, seriously? You busted the whoel thing?"

I said, "Yeah, I'm sorry. I messed up and it wont happen again"

"You're goddamn right it wont happen again," he yelled as he threw a punch at me.

Now, I'm not much of a fighter, but I can't say he caught me off guard. I easily ducked his punch and dove in to tackle him.

As I took him down, we knocked over a rolling table that was carrying 2 players drinks and a large bowl of Pho vietnamese soup.

The soup fell right on my back and I screamed out in pain, "JESUS *** THAT IS PHOKING HOT".

I can not stop to admire my pun, as I notice Weinberg cunvulsing on the floor.

Foam starts to por from his mouth as I lift myself off him.

I lift my hands in inoccence and back away slowly from the table.

By this point a few secuirity guys had arrived. They call for back up and I make my way to the washrroom.

I head to a stall and lock the door. I get up and crouch on the seat of a toilet and wait there for two hours until the dust settles. I just listend to my iPod the whole time.

After that I snuck out and called a cab and went home. I don't know what happened to him but I hope he dies or gives me another $20,000.
