Deception; we're not supposed to know. What I like about the looming robot apocalypse though is that you can have some fun with AI just before!
That was attempt ONE. Remember Transformer some years ago? You had to do 10 attempts sometimes to get something good. But wait - I forgot something. Also the end could be better tbh.
It didn't put what I wanted in the last line... the first sign of the robot revolt?
Maybe it needs a bit of guidance.
It's defiant!
Didn't they program it according to Asimov's laws? Also I'm getting tired of the woods theme.
OK so I think I have to do some fine tuning myself; some rhymes and rhythms are off anyway. Guys, I give you...
Lost in Vegas: A Poker Player's Lament
The neon lights of Vegas shine,
I sit at the poker table and dine,
The chips are stacked and the cards are dealt,
But I'm not feeling lucky on the felt.
The bets are placed and the game begins,
My heart is racing, my nerves are thin,
But luck is fickle and fortune cruel,
As I lose that money, what can I do?
The dealer smiles and the game goes on,
My chips are dwindling, my luck is gone,
I know it sucks, but still I play,
Needing some luck to save the day.
The night is young and the stakes are high,
But still I sit and still I try,
Losing that money, blow up and spew
I know it sucks, but what can I do?
In this city of sin, my fate is sealed,
As I lose that money, my heart is congealed,
I know it sucks, but still I play,
Hope for a chance to win the day.
But it is not to be, and I know in my heart,
That in this game of poker, I am but a fart,
So I fold my hand and walk away,
Leaving the table and the game to play.
The Vegas strip is loud and bright,
But in my mind, the game is a fight,
I lost that money, but what is new?
I know it sucks, but sometimes you do.
But I'll be back, I know I will,
To lose that money, again and still,
For the thrill of the game and the rush of the play,
I'll lose that money, what can I say?
And lose that money, what can I do?
And lose that money, what can I do?
