Isn't the best customer for the casino the one that places the most money in wagers? Like, if you have $1000 and play slots for $10 a spin, you could end up playing more than 100 times, effectively wagering more than $1000.

The casino edge wears down your money slowly. If there is a 5% edge on the game, you theoretically lose 5% of your bet every time.

The gambler that just goes double or nothing for $1000 is actually not that great of a customer for the casino, they will not increase their profits as much as the gambler that sits at the table or machines and grinds, wagering over time much more than the actual amount of money they have.

not true you can look up my online poker stats for 2010 on official poker rankings i was a top 1% player in the world for MTT's redskins2121. i am no pro but i do have about 30k in profit from poker.in that year from cash and MTT's i did not discover BJ until 2013ish
