Cashout curse?????? Cashout curse??????

Personally, I never believed any such "myths", that is until now....
I play small stakes, mostly 50NL/100NL. After some decent grinding I decided to cash out some of my roll.
Then all of a sudden the following started to happen:

[x] Losing preflop allins where I was 80/20 favorite (AA vs 10/10 etc.) not 1 out of 5 times, but 4 out of 5 times.
[x] Board produces coolers and redraws on almost every possible occasion.
[x] Opponents, no matter how bad they've played, got their miracle card(s), yes I've seen more runner runners than I would if I were doing' a marathon...
[x] Big hands during postflop play get crushed by 1/2 outers to a ridiculous extent.
[x] Getting dealt WAY more trash (most seen: 2/5, 3/7, 3/8 and 4/9 ofsuit) hands than statistically normal over a sample of 50+K hands.
[x] Not be able to connect to most of the flops
[x] Not being able to win any coinflips anymore.

I am sure that's not all, but right now I am angry and I really feel like I am being ripped of by this site (Yeah, it's Pokerstars mostly, but the same happened on Fulltilt).
I am running well over 50 BI under EV and I am probably not playing my A game anymore as a result of this.
I'll post some hands and if you like feel free to give me some feedback on them.

Ok, first hand...

+1 the last hand posted is played so poorly it is obv. a bet/fold and your could have gotten away from some of the hands instead of stacking off being behind.

The problem is:

You focus too much on results. This leads you to take focus away from your decisions.

I have trouble to find one hand where you have the optimal betsizing and take the right decisions.

Post some hands, get some feedback and get rolling again.

Hand 1 raise the flop, as played you can’t blame anyone but yourself.
If you are the villain in this hand and you make a small continuation bet and then see a turn that gives you open ended straight plus a shot at bluffing a diamond if possible. You gave him value to call, and he did.

Hand 2 guy tried to bluff you, you caught him. He got lucky
Hand 3 please bet at some point LOL…
Hand 4-7 totally standard

Before you cashed out you never lost a hand or won on a draw?

You should always cash out the full amount and go grind another site. This way you avoid the cashout curse and get the deposit boomswitch.

It's scientific, I promise.

haha this is funny Iam currently on a nice downswing and this story sounds exactly like thats happening to me... I guess its called variance on the other hand .... you could try sending Daniel Negreanu 0.03$ I heard thats the proven way to disable the doomswitch en enable BOOM modus.

*Edit* try posting some stats here, enough programs that make you see some %numbers on what hands you got most and how that statistically differs. I actually get about 1% more 54o then any other hand

Well I withdrew 3k today and lost 4.5k in like 2k hands at 100nl and 200nl right away in a way that I almost felt cheated.

Inhumane the beats and setups I was taking.

I think a lot of the people here just LOLing at your hands don't know what its like to run 50BI below EV over 2 or 3 months.

It's a total mind f**k and a horrible horrible horrible thing to deal with week after week.. The worst part is there is nothing you can do about it but play your best, continue to work your game, avoid tilt and hope things turn around.

One tip about run bad: Your A game is still there but it doesn't last as long, simply because you don't feel good. EVERYONE will agree that feeling good is a crucial component of playing one's A game.

NOBODY loses 5 of 5 80/20s for stacks and feels like a champ and loves life. And you might be able to supress the anger, but you're not gonna start singing BING BLANG BLAOW when the fish to your right dumps 4 BI of your money to the tough reg on your left in a single hand (Worst feeling in the world imo).

The key to counteract this is to shorten your sessions and allow the negative feelings associated with running bad to dissapate. This will reduce the chances of you playing poor. Whether it be obv losing hero call or an all-out roll on the line monkey tilt session at 10K NL. (I would suggest break your scheduled into 1.5hr sessions)

GL

Also the chances that the Cash Out Curse is real is 50/50. Sure seems like it though.
