You seem to be forgetting that during this possible 5 days of inside a car trunk, you'll have to use the bathroom and a pee bottle won't be nearly enough.

Also if you do have a pee bottle, are you able to empty it? Or are you sitting in the darkness with a bottle of warm piss by your side for the remainder of the time?

Lastly, if you do go through with this, I'd bring a pillow.

Op how tall are you and your friend, and what kind of cars are you using?

Also, if you really are about to do this, research some of the things the trapped Chilean miners have found most beneficial and useful to pass the time. gl gl



ps I think this would be more interesting if you set something up in a backyard and just built two 5x5x5 boxes and had the competition in there. It would eliminate the unfairness of using different cars and different drivers, and also eliminate the danger of a car accident ruining or ending your life. Also, the person who got out first wouldn't be loud about it for obvious reasons, so you could have the boxes in the same location and keep it fair in that respect, too.

This would be way better if you used vehicles that weren't mobile or something a little safer. If you get rear ended it's going to suck really bad especially if the car catches fire and you are still alive but trapped.

Maybe you should just get to come out once a day for 10 minutes and take a dump.

It seems the whole bet is basically hinging on who will be able to store their poop and pee in the trunk with them most effectively, which might not be the intended spirit of the bet.

shouldnt op considder to use the same bottle for water and peeing? Solve one problem. He also needs to considder some sort of food that where he could use the trash to dumb in ... eventhough dumping shouldnt be a big issue (maybe once or twice).
Lastly ... entertainment is very important, whats wrong with a laptop and wireless internet?

bet should be, get locked in the boot except the car you are in is parked at the top of a long steep hill with some kind of deep canyon at the end of the road. First one to get out lives.

Having a lot of trouble finding friends willing to put up with the pee bottle / crapping in their trunk aspect right now. We might need to implement the timed daily 10 minute bathroom break idea in order to get things rolling (lol get it, rolling?). As far as trunk size and friend's driving frequencies, that's all just variance. It's probably fair just to flip for which car each person gets.

Ppl saying "build boxes, etc" are taking all the fun of it imho. Also, how much money are u betting? If the money is good enought, u could rent two identical cars and have ur friends drive around in them. Pretty much solves the "crapping in the trunk" problem if u can pay for it.

It's in a car, surely the cat litter would go everywhere. And that's not a good coice for one of your 3 things to bring with you. Obviouly (1) is water and (2) is food. (3) is much more difficult. Electronics would run out of battery way too quickly if you're staying in there for days...and it would be too dark to bring a book...maybe sleeping pills...? Maybe a piss bottle? The 3rd thing to bring gives a difficult choice...
