We are a forum that has always been open minded about moving threads. But more threads came to this forum in one year than came in the all the years before it.

I’m not against moving threads. Far from it. Moved threads have qualities we all admire. Looking for a better trolling. They want to get on. I like that. We admire that.

So I’m speaking here as much as for the settled threads that have been moved here as for those who have been here forever. But half a dozen moved threads a year? It’s just not sustainable. Anyone who looks at it honestly knows it’s not sustainable.

I talk about it honestly. Directly. I’ve had a lot of stick for it. Normal, decent people have been bullied out of the debate. And I want to change that!

We're always going to be a part of 2+2 psychologically. The trouble is that EAD and the EAD banning have taken over so much emotional and intellectual energy of the people running the community. This is a real shame. 2+2 should be about so much more. I think we need to focus on other things that are good for our traffic. I believe in the free market of trolling and all those things.
