The second one is great. Maybe it was Brad Booth and he put you on AK - nice call fish.

First one he has the red flush draw + overcard. Totally standard if you play with 2 colour deck.

In the 2nd one he has a lot invested with a premium hand, and on top of that he hits the flop, he goes all in to cancel your positional advantage and even if you have the A he gets to see the turn and river with a backdoor quads draw.
