Hero sits down at a loose live 2/5 NL game. There is a straddle and two people limp. Hero limps and the LAGGY looking villain on the button makes it $40 to go. One of the blinds and both limpers call. Hero shoves for $500 with pocket 6's and villain snap calls. Everyone else folds.

Villain shows AK. Hero offers to chop the pot but the dealer was too quick to run the board. Which bricked out. We now have about $1120 in our stack.

The very next hand: Hello pocket 6-6

Limp limp limp etc. The BTN makes it $35, call call call etc.

Flop ($210): 6-3-2

Long strory short; we triple up vs AA and pocket deuces. We now have $3,465 in chips. All within a span of 6 minutes

Sounds like normal variance. I have gone broke in major tourney on ACR in 2 hands. It wasn't til last week I realized I am playing volatile. I also have gone from $70 to $1,400 down to $376 at $1/2 in like 10 hands. The no limit structure is dangerous,especially with the most variance players maniacs.

You must be new here

You must be aware that your winrate/hour can drop when dealer changes (eg. the new one might be slower at shuffle and dealing flop/turn/river). I suggest to tip this dealer big so he refuses to be changed.

Also, you should escalate to the floor manager anyone who stays on their mobile phone as again you waste time and the winrate/hour drops..
