Most of you guys would really take the money? I know that cashing / winning in the ME is a long shot, but there is something to be said for the experience isn't there?

Any of you that would play in it just to say that you did / take a shot?

I have always wanted to play in the ME, just for the experience. Although the field is so thick now that it would probably be a disappointment. Unless you get real good, you will never be rolled properly for this event or probably get staked, so I'd say take your shot now if you've always wanted to. The smart bankroll NIT in me would say there is just no way I would play this event considering what it could do for your roll.

yea take the money. I think there is some bias in that you feel like this 12k is yours and you are underestimating the downside hit when you don't cash and are out the 12k.

This is what I don't understand. I would guess if OP won just a regular donkament for 12k no chance he plays the ME. GL to you though whatever you decide. It would be quite the experience.

Good luck in the main event, I played the same tourney and got in for $109.00. I just bought myself a brand new Lexus IS350, if I win another seat I'll play the ME.
