Boku87 Challenge #2 UPDATE: FINISHED! - Page 5 - Poker Beats Brags and Variance

He'll do this super easily in <6 months imo. Even I managed to go from $15 to >20k in my first year of playing and i was 1. absolutely terrible at poker, having never played never at all 2. put in very low volume (<50hrs/month) 3. took a while to learn to multitable properly 4. never had any form of rakeback and 5. didn't play at all for 2 full months within that year. Boku on the other hand starts this off as a good poker player who can grind like no other and will be earning a decent amount from rakeback alone.

You're not even on the right page.

Really hope Boku makes this, but me thinks people are underestimating what Boku will have to go through and sacrifice, deff. won't be as easy as most people seem to think it will.

Boku, any reason you/PStars decided to start with $5 and not $50+?

He'll probably be fluctuatingbetween 30-40k then sort of just give up or run out of time.

Why for ****sake would you even want to do something like this? Especially, if you can do it within a year. I dont get it with you. Your obviously pretty good with the sngs. But you chose to turn 10 dollars into 10k. and now 1 dollar to 100k? If you could beat 1knl would you play 25nl? for a year?

Why the HELL would you or pokerstars not want to turn that 10k into 1million????????????????? cause essentially that would be the next step in the Boku challenge? run that by pokerstars before you make this 1 year mistake a reality.

The $5 starting br is going to be tough to get past if this is a promotion to get fish to join stars why not do it with the minimum deposit? can you even deposit only $5?
