This certain person i happen to get along with rather well, and have no personal issuses against, he just seems to have my number, time and time again, hits me set over set, etc..etc...etc, im sure you get the point. Also, i can be be up say 1k, he moves to my table, and boom another person can cooler me. Ive been joking with him about it, and he also aknowleages how good he has been running against me, in big pots, with big hands , i never bluff him also. I always have value hands against him.
I been a winning 2/5 player for almost 3 years straight, averaging about $39/hour. Ive had issues with other players who try to constantly out play me, or play back at me, beacuse we have a bad history, and this isnt the case. This kid i actually like, think he's a bright young player, for the most part we try to stay outta eachother way, but when we collide, its for huge pots, and he just has my number. Now that last 5 weeks , im not really running horrible, only down about 600, for like 100 hours of play, no downswing. I defintly think i play better than this kid, he seems to over value hands, and get caught in bad spots alot, and have way more experience live then he does. but i do respect his game, hes no lucky donk by any means, he just owns me lately. Thats why I call him the black cat.
If i look back at my stats, i take notes, when i get coolered, etc, i played 19 sessions in July, 9 with him at my table and lost every session, the decks gotta brake even, I guess, not getting out played, hes not making fold better hands, just coolers to some degree.
Sorry for ranting on, does anyone else share a "black cat " experience??
