I just walked out of the casino with my biggest 1/2 win, $1133. Originally went to the casino to play my first live $80 tourney, played pretty well (hit quad aces! but i was only against the SB's all in of 600 at blinds of 400-800 lol) and finished in 18th out of 60.

Left feeling pretty good, and went to my friends house where they were playing a home game, but they were finished by the time I got there. They smoked up so I thought to myself it's not worth staying and pitched the idea to them of going back to play cash game. One said no, one said yes (there was a long drawn out discussion about this, with an inebriated intermission discussion regarding the mechanics of a manual car stalling LOL) and we settled on the idea that I should call my mum and let her decide (she gives good advice). She said that if I was feeling good about my game on that day I should go play, but if not the casino is always going to be there next week. Man I love my mom.

Anyway, I head back to the cas and buy in for $200 at 1/2. Everyone is sitting on around $400+ and one guy has like $1000 on the table (he was a complete lag and raised almost every pot). Anyway, he raises to $10 in MP, another loose-semi-passive calls, and so does a solid player. I look down at AdAh and repop to 30$. He calls, she calls, and he calls. Flop is Qx 4d 2d and it's checked to me, I bet $75, lag folds, lady goes all in (for less than my bet), and solid calls. Turn is blank, I check behind (bad move should have shoved arg) and river is blank I bet he folds. Lady went all in with QJo. Sweet.

Next big hand, I get Jh10h and I raise to $8 in late position with two calls (button + SB). Flop is 10x 2h 3h, SB leads for $20, I flat, button flats. Turn is 5x, SB checks, I bet $55, button moves all in for $87 more. SB folds, I call and hit a heart on the river to beat his 46o.
