I started playing 10-25 with about 3.5k about 10pm. Sometime the next day, probably early afternoon, the following hand happened. Although I'm a little fuzzy on the action, you'll get the picture:

Seat 1 had ~3k, Seat 6 had recently bought in for 10k, i covered table in seat 5.

Hero in MP with 97. I think 4 people see the flop for ~100 each.
Flop: 1076

Seat 1 checks, I check, Seat 6 bets something normal. We both call.

Turn: 8

I'm not sure the first few actions, but i know seat 1 ended up jamming, i call, seat 6 jams, and I call.

i table my hand bc the last thing i wanna do is get accused of a slow role. Seat 6 ended up showing me KJ, seat 1 said he had a straight.

This hand was the highlight of a 20 hour session where I probably ran better than I ever have in my life. It also didn't hurt that I was drunk and playing really aggressive but was a huge card rack. Anyways, I've done a lot of whining about beats before, so I figured I should try and even out the karma a little.

ya, i definitely should've gotten some chip porn. it was a lot of 5k browns though, so it wasn't a massive pile of chips.

as fun as it would've been to whip out my camera and document the big pot, i'm not sure the dude that just lost over 10k would've been too pumped about it.
