Look at Tillerman's story of moving up:

http://www.tillerman.net/2005/08/poker-timeline.html

Started playing in late 2003 and by mid 2004 had made like 100k at small and mid stakes.

MBN to have gotten into poker back then...

this ****ing sad though.,,
back in 2000 when I turned 18, I got into blackjack card counting and would card count at my local casino every day for about 3 months. then I burnt out and quit and went to school..

I didn't find online gambling until late 07 but Was a ****ing min deposit and bank roll on table until 2010....

Just one ****ing incidence could have changed everything, getting introduced to poker around that time would have been perfect for me.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooo

I would go to casinos with like 1k and come back home 6-8 hours later with avg of $$400 profit. I played 5/10

That was huge for a 18 yo.

seriously the time you played wouldn't have changed anything, the guys who succeeded would have probably succeeded even if they started 2 or 3 yrs later

don't find an excuse for your lack of dedication or skills or w/e
