I was playing Ongame's GSOP Event 8 (190+10 350k gtd) and after four hours of play, I ran out of smokes. Tried to get some1 to get me a pack, but there was no1 awake. Finally found one friend that was willing to bring me cigarettes and I promised 1% of the tournament's action. He wanted more, so we agreed for 2,5% share and cup of coffee. Really had no other choise.

So the tourney ended few hours ago and I ran up to HU and lost it, still cashing +$48k so I'm 1,2k up for my friend for that favor. Sick life imo. Table Name on scope _Saapasmono. Flame on!

If you didn't have that 2nd pack of cigs would you have become more stressed and mabbe lost the tourney?

Think of it as investing in him the 1.2k are watever it was for 48k more in your pocket.

i'm thinking the friend is a huge dick for this...

but he made the request/deal when there were still many (?) ppl left. so his 2.5% was probably worth way under $100 on average.

still... most of my friends would not ask me to pay the $1,200. just a token amount instead.

lol at giving him 2,5%. You should have shown him the top 3 payoff and tell him than 1% is still about $400 in average. Nice perf though.

If you plan on doing the live pro circuit 1 day, I would take only 0.5% to follow you, and I always have cigs on me. Always.
